Summary: BSU has an immediate opening for a Stockroom clerk. This position requires good inventory control skills as well as the ability to multitask and to work independently. Job Duties: Electronic part recognition. Picking of electrical components needed for production floor. Inventory Control tasks such as cycle-counting and replenishment of on-hand inventory. Supporting production by providing kits and electrical parts for electronic board assembly. Minimal clerical duties may be required, such as generating labels, entering items into the inventory system, entering items onto Excel worksheets, etc. Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: At least 5 years experience in stockroom in a manufacturing environment. Expected to read and comprehend process documentation. Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format. Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts. Experience in Pick/Pack/Ship or assembly/production experience in a light manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is preferred. Experience with common Manufacturing/Distribution Center tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and knowledge of related documents and/or MRP operation preferred Experience with BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions is preferred Knowledge of basic Windows-based PC functionality and the ability to accurately type at a reasonable pace are required. Through the use of company provided tools, the Inventory Specialist will document vehicle condition within company standards which includes a complete inventory and supporting photographs of each vehicle. Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area. Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles. Determine operational capability of motor vehicles Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles. Maintain inventory of all materials used. Compliance to company policies and procedures Compliance to safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: Must be 18 years or older Ability to work outdoors in all seasons General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment Driver's license preferred Bilingual skill a plus.
