Purpose Statement
This position will support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
* Perform shipping and receiving duties
* Responsible for inbound/outbound deliveries.
* Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* HS/GED required. College degree preferred; and three to five years' experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to follow defined policies, processes, and procedures
* Must have excellent computer skills and experience in extracting and analyzing data using information systems reporting tools such as Excel.
* Efficient with all Microsoft Office products. Experience using QAD, SAP, and Outlook a plus.

Examine shipment content and compare it with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
Deliver materials to departments using dollies/hand trucks.
Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse by dusting, sweeping, and disposing of any trash or broken pallets.
Assist the leather department as needed by folding, rolling, stacking or counting leather skins on racks.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry materials weighing up to 55 lbs.
Use of hands and arms to fold, stack, roll, and move leather skins and other materials.
Ability to safely operate dollies, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
Comfortable working in warehouse and production environments that may vary in temperature.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for detailed tasks and material handling.
Work Environment:
This is an on-site position at our facility.
Work may involve exposure to leather materials, adhesives, and mechanical equipment.
Noise level and temperature may vary depending on department.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:00am -2:30pm
