AlokChaturvedi, 39 years, is the Chief Operating Officer of SiliconIndia.com. He has over a decade and a half of experience in management, sales and finance.

Since 2008, as founding employee of SiliconIndia.com, Alok oversees the operations and finance of the company. He is also responsible for driving sales for online. His strong leadership and motivational skills in training over 150 sales people has resulted in superior individual and group performance. Under his leadership, the sales of the organization grew year-on-year revenue by 40 percent contributed by the newly introduced online products. His effort has brought the company to being profitable & cash flow positive and has made it ready for expansion.

With strong business acumen, Alok has conceived innovative online products, directed product and business strategy and spearheaded the portal’s transformation into one of the leading destinations that allows advertisers to reach out to technology buyers. Also is also responsible for exploring and exploiting ad sales synergies across different online properties. He is competent in finding and refining the best technology solutions and communication platforms to make the cash register ring for advertising clients. He also created a unique marketing opportunity for marketing spends, which consists of both Enterprise-based marketing and non-IT branding.

Alok was country head of SiliconIndia US from 1999 to 2008.Alokhad set up the India office and managed all operations and sales from India for US company. He also served as publisher of SmartTechie magazine for 5 years, which was one of the widest circulating magazines amongst the techies in India.

An old warhorse in the system, Alok has been in media business for 15 years. A accounting graduate from University of Agra, Alok has grown from managing accounts to operations, sales and marketing.

Rajan Singh is a CTO at siliconindia and is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He studied at Sahara Arts and Mamagement Academy, Lucknow between 2003 and 2006.
