Education / Training

* Following instructions from blueprints, engineering change documents and work instructions;
* The operations will consist of the manual assembly, fabrication, grinding and fitting together rail components such as frogs, switch rods, switch points, guard rail, and gage plates for final trackwork assembly.
Qualifications and Experience
* Prior machine or grinder experience preferred;
* Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision;
* Must be familiar with manufacturing environment, with use of industrial equipment and mechanics, and ability to use various hand and power tools and measuring devices for completion of work;
* Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/32" and have experience using other instruments such as gauges, calipers, etc.;
* Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy;
