Amsted Automotive - Piston Pin Facility has a need for a Sorter. The Sorter will perform final inspection duties on parts to ensure quality product is shipped to customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Inspect parts received from production for various quality issues including nicks, rust, wheel marks, scratches, dings, etc.
Use provided tools to mark product and/or packaging to meet customer requirements and specifications.
Provide parts that can be reworked to operations.
Dispose of all parts that do not meet customer quality specifications and cannot be reworked.
Complete sort logs to keep track of all product passing through final inspection.
Participate in continuous improvement activities in and around the plant to assist in increases in productivity, safety, quality, etc.
Work safely and help keep other team members safe by pointing out hazards in the work environment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
