We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Package Sorter to join our warehouse operations. The Package Sorter will be responsible for organizing and sorting packages based on their size, weight, and destination, ensuring that each package is properly handled and prepared for shipping. The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced environment and will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate delivery of packages. Responsibilities: Sort packages manually or using automated systems according to size, weight, and destination. Scan and label packages to ensure accurate tracking and delivery information. Load and unload packages from trucks and conveyor belts. Organize sorted packages in designated areas for dispatch. Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies and report them to supervisors. Follow safety protocols to ensure packages are handled safely and securely. Maintain cleanliness and order in the sorting area. Meet daily package sorting targets and work efficiently within a team environment. Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a warehouse or sorting role is a plus but not required. Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Basic computer skills for scanning and tracking packages. Good communication and teamwork skills.
