About the Team The Sensors Division at STR focuses on technology development for advanced sensor systems and platforms in support of national security. The Systems Autonomy, Analysis, and Modeling (SAAM) Group within the Sensors Division develops, adapts, and applies cutting-edge autonomy research to solve real-world problems on the foundation of physics-based modeling and simulation. Algorithmic areas of interest include AI/ML, controls theory, sensor signal processing (especially radar and EO/IR), tracking, optimization, and resource allocation. STR is seeking an experienced Physical Security Specialist to lead the design, development, and compliance efforts for secure facilities such as SCIFs, SAPFs, and other classified spaces. The role requires expertise in ICD 705 standards, DoD protocols, and national security regulations to manage risks, enforce security measures, and achieve successful accreditations. As a key member of the security team, you will oversee facility design, documentation, inspections, and training to ensure STR's sensitive operations are conducted in highly secure environments. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Compliance Leadership Develop, implement, and maintain documentation for secure facility design and management, including Construction Security Plans (CSPs), Fixed Facility Checklist (FFCs), and Protected Distribution Systems (PDS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Access Control System (ACS) procedures. STR is hiring a Lead Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) in our Woburn, MA office to work across a broad portfolio of DoD mission areas. The Systems Engineer should have experience architecting systems, working across the Systems Engineering Lifecycle, a deep understanding of Systems Engineering principles, reverse engineering techniques, and the ability to work with complex software systems and the utilization of Digital Engineering/MBSE to accomplish program goals. The candidate will support STR's Systems Development Division to achieve architectural integrity and traceability from requirements analysis through system and software development and production system deployment.
