The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats a variety of communication/swallowing disorders but is not limited to aphasia, voice, speech/language, closed head injury deficits (cognitive, linguistic, memory, attention), fluency (including stuttering), aural rehabilitation, non-verbal (augmentative communication), oral and pharyngeal stage of swallowing.

* Prepare diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology services.
* Maintain compliance with all competency requirements for regulatory and accrediting agencies, and health care provider prerequisites.
* Provide diagnostic and treatment services for clients referred for Speech-Language Pathology.
* Attend and participate actively in staff meetings, development, committees, and in-service education.

* Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology with specific course work and clinical practice in all previously mentioned areas within the scope of practice is required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
* Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
