Responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issue. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. SLPs work with people of all ages, from babies to adults. SLPs treat many types of communication and swallowing problems. Other words for these problems are articulation or phonological disorders, apraxia of speech , or dysarthria .
