Prior to SoftLayer, Lance was COO of ThePlanet, leading sales, provisioning, product, managed services, business development, and legal departments. He served in management roles at Catalog.com and Dallas Internet. Mr. Crosby has experience in leadership and project management skills coupled with extensive technical skills in software and hardware environments. Mr. Crosby is a licensed attorney in the state of Texas and is an active member of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Crosby holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Management from Tarleton State University. He also holds an M.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Management from Texas A&M University. Mr. Crosby’s legal education includes a J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and an L.L.M. in Tax Law from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
