The Department of Economic Security, Division of Benefits and Medical Eligibility, is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative 2 at our Casa Grande Field Office. This position is the first point of contact in the office. This position, under general supervision, will screen applications for Medical Assistance (MA), Nutritional Assistance (NA), and Cash Assistance (CA). The member will use the state system to record details of customer interactions, complaints, or comments, as well as details on actions taken to assist the customer. This is an in-person, on-site position.
Job Duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
In-person interaction with customers to determine what steps to follow in the appropriate Standard Work and place the customer in the correct workflow.
Screen applications for NA Expedite criteria as well as data entry applications.
Educate customers on Rights and Responsibilities, Change Reporting, Self Service options, and interviewing requirements/process.
Scan and upload documents into the FAA's Document Management System and the FAA's Eligibility System into the appropriate document type.
Ordering and storing office supplies and equipment.
Issue Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards.
Ensure the Voter Registration process is followed.
May translate or submit a translation when appropriate.
Data entry applications.
Resolve client issues.
Responds to difficult, time-sensitive complaints and feedback.
Provide conflict de-escalation in dealing with irate clients.
Refer customers to upper management for unresolved issues.
Open and date-stamp incoming mail.
Troubleshooting equipment by contacting the Helpdesk or Resolution center.

Under the general direction of the Residential Reentry Management Branch (RRMB) Administrator, responsible for development and implementation of all duties and functions related to procurement initiatives, administration and/or oversight activities for the operations and programs of Residential Reentry and contract confinement/detention facilities nationwide.
Serves as a resource person for the Bureau of Prison's (BOP) executive staff in regard to the residential (e.g., community) reentry of federal offenders. As such, provides information and advice to Branch Chiefs, Deputy Assistant Directors, Assistant Directors, Regional Directors, and the Director regarding the community reentry of offenders in BOP custody, the allocation of bureau resources for community residential reentry, and the current state of similar programs offered by other agencies.
Serves as a liaison for the BOP with external entities regarding residential reentry initiatives and short-term detention facilities. Establishes and maintains professional relationships with high ranking officials in other governmental agencies, the Judiciary, members of the academic community and appropriate private agencies.

Education:
There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position.
Experience:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. Specialized experience is directly related experience that included substantial involvement with a correctional program and provided a thorough knowledge of correctional techniques, or experience in meeting and dealing with people that demonstrated the ability to work effectively with inmates and associates in a correctional environment.
Experience must have also demonstrated the ability to perform supervisory or administrative duties successfully. This includes (1) understanding the problems of custody, treatment, training, and release of inmates of penal or correctional institutions; (2) a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of an institution's internal policies, programs, regulations, and procedures; and (3) training subordinates, coordinating and directing activities and functions, evaluating performance of operations and the effectiveness of programs, and maintaining high standards or work objectives. This experience must have been gained in an administrative position, or in other positions that included the successful direction, or assistance in the direction of, an entire correctional program or a major phase of such a program.
Some examples of this qualifying experience are:
* Experience assisting in managing Residential Reentry programs.
* Experience planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, overseeing and evaluating contract detention efforts.
* Experience working with other Federal criminal justice agencies including U.S. Probation, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Sentencing Commission, and U.S. Parole Commission.
* Experience interpreting and utilizing policies, directives, and agency guidelines to effectively manage residential reentry operations.

Role & Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician will constantly be aware of the physical condition of their assigned community and immediately initiate action to correct unsafe conditions by proactively diagnosing and performing minor and routine maintenance, and carrying out assigned duties in a safe manner as requested by their supervisor.
The primary roles of the Maintenance Technician will be assisting the Maintenance team in ensuring a safe environment, maintaining the continuity of essential services, performing ongoing facility maintenance, and completing necessary repairs on equipment in order to guarantee resident comfort and security.

Scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance and inspections on all appropriate areas, equipment, apartments, and tools
Understanding all maintenance-related aspects of the community including utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, sewer cleanouts, maintenance shops, storage areas, etc.
Knowledge of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper storage and management of hazardous materials including solvents, flammables, caustics, and Freon
Inspecting, reporting on, and helping coordinate inventory needs and any/all apartment preparation, repairs, and services, assisting fellow staff as required to meet deadlines
Performing any additional duties assigned by their supervisor and assuming all maintenance responsibilities in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor
Skills & Qualifications
Tools and equipment requirements including:
Basic set of tools (i.e. screwdrivers, pliers, etc.)

AIS was founded in 2016 by Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. As part of an ANC, AIS Infrastructure is a Minority Business Enterprise. Their AIS BCSS group is also a certified 8(a) business, offering further contracting advantages to government agencies.
