Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified SterileProcessingTechnician, you will play a critical role in protecting patient safety and supporting life-saving care through precision and attention to detail. In this rewarding role, you will be a vital part of our team - helping surgical staff deliver safe, effective care by ensuring every instrument and supply is clean, prepared, and ready when it is needed most.
Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays to ensure they are sterile, complete, labeled, and ready for use
Managing sterilization equipment and keeping accurate records to support patient safety and infection prevention
Preparing customized surgical sets and case carts based on daily schedules and specific procedure needs
Managing inventory and supplies in OR storage and specialty lockers, working with the surgical team to meet needs and keep operations running smoothly
Responding quickly to instrument requests during surgeries and helping solve urgent equipment needs
What qualifications you will need:
High School graduate or equivalent
Knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment and instruments
Certification from CBSPD or HSPA
Previous experience 1-2 years strongly preferred

You will break down and set up treatment rooms while cleaning and sterilizing instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patient care. Each day you will follow precise protocols, manage instrument preparation and room readiness, and support the team in delivering high-quality dental care.

We are looking for someone to join our surgical team and play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and surgical excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable SterileProcessingTechnician to support our clinical operations by maintaining the highest standards of instrument sterilization and infection control. This position will be 5 days a week M-F 10am-6:30pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments for all scheduled procedures under the direction of the SterileProcessing Supervisor.
Operate sterilizers and complete daily checks, including recording temperature, pressure, and test load times.
Update and maintain surgical instrument tray lists.
Initiate repairs on surgical instruments as needed.
Practice infection control and universal precautions in accordance with facility policy.
Restock workstations at the end of each workday.
Inspect case carts, instruments, and supplies; store items appropriately in the SterileProcessing Department (SPD).
Perform all duties as outlined in the department's scope of service to meet patient care needs.
Maintain current certifications and licensure.
Check and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the surgical team.
Required
High school diploma or GED certificate recipient
BLS certification - American Heart Association
Must have sufficient reading ability to read safety instructions and chemical product labels.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) within 12 months of hire
Preferred
ASC experience
1-3 years of SterileProcessing experience in an operating room setting
Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS)

This is a full-time position. Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-7:00 pm
The Dental SterilizationTechnician is responsible for increasing the efficiency of the dental team by cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing dental equipment for use during dental procedures to ensure patients and staff are not exposed to germs from unsterile equipment. This position is also responsible for cleaning and preparing treatment rooms for use between patients and at end of day. This position reports to the Center Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing dental instruments according to procedures
Following manufacturers' instructions for maintaining sterilization equipment properly
Recording/documenting information, such as maintenance and sterilizationprocesses and notes
Cleaning/disinfecting treatment rooms between patients
Transporting dirty dental instruments to the dedicated sterilization area
Tracking and ordering sterilization supplies
Adhering to standard protocols for infection control
Wearing personal protective equipment when required
Performing other routine office functions when required.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Current Basic Life Support Certification or agreement to obtain by the completion of the ninety-day introductory period.
EXPERIENCE
