Job Title: Grocery Stock Clerk 3rd Shift Department: Grocery / Stock Reports To: Grocery Manager or Store Manager Employment Type: [Full-Time / Part-Time] The Grocery Stock Clerk is responsible for keeping store shelves stocked, organized, and clean. This includes unloading deliveries, rotating products, checking for expired items, and assisting customers as needed to ensure a well-stocked and customer-friendly shopping experience. Key Responsibilities: Unload deliveries and stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise. Rotate products using "first in, first out" (FIFO) to reduce waste. Check for and remove expired, damaged, or outdated items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas and sales floor. Build and maintain product displays and promotional setups. Assist customers with locating products and answering basic questions. Return misplaced items to their proper locations. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines. Notify management of inventory issues, shortages, or overstock. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior retail or stocking experience is a plus, but not required.
