This position will help either Receiving and Replenishment of the warehouse supplying gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. The incumbent performs daily receiving, warehousing, selecting, and shipping tasks. Incumbents replenish, audit, inventory, document, ship materials domestically and internationally, and/or deliver commodities. The incumbent uses heavy material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, automatic strapping equipment, and so on. Requirements: Essential Job Duties and responsibilities: Maintain warehouse inventory levels for all orders as directed by DATA NINJA SYSTEM (or as directed by lead or supervisor). Accurately stock product locations with inventory maintaining current productivity standards. Put away inventory from receiving dock to secondary and/or warehouse locations. Consolidate inventory where appropriate. Assist in unloading containers, building pallets, and preparing product for secondary storage and/or various locations including production, assembly and blending. Maintain a clean, safe work environment; sweep the floor, remove debris, pick up pallets, etc. Operate forklifts, stand-up and sit-down lifts, and other warehouse equipment including changing and watering batteries while maintaining safety standards at all times. Must contribute to a team-working environment. Minimum Qualification Standards: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, using appropriate lifting techniques and tools. Requires the ability to read and write English; must also be able to count and perform basic math. Must have the ability to perform basic data entry into a computer and operate an RF gun. This position supports the Replenishment department which supplies gospel teachings, resources, or services accessible to all in a simple and affordable way, supporting the mission of the Church. The incumbent performs daily receiving, warehousing, product replenishment, audit, inventory, and documentation. The incumbent uses heavy material handling equipment such as forklifts, electric pallet jacks, automatic strapping equipment, and so on. Incumbents may work directly with customers, ecclesiastical leaders, and others to resolve order delays and make order corrections. This position provides entry or training level warehousing experience in which the incumbent performs various receiving, stores, and/or shipping functions under close supervision. This is a temporary, full-time position with a fixed term. Meaning, employment will conclude either on the specified end date or earlier, if needed. If selected, you will join the Replenishment department. * Swing Schedule: * Monday to Friday - 4:00PM to 12:30AM * Overtime as business needs dictate. You will be informed ahead of time. Starting Pay : * $18.00 * If selected, there will be an additional $1 shift differential. Specific work performed may vary considerably between different departments for this position. However, duties would be of similar complexity and difficulty to those in the following list: * 90% * Performs general material handling/warehousing duties involving receiving, storing, and inventorying materials/commodities. Processes materials using postal manifest and meter equipment. Loads and unloads trucks. Reviews and interprets shipping documents, verifies quantities, inspects for damage, and determines country of origin and specific language code for international materials. * 10% * Assists in maintaining equipment, building, grounds, and keeps appropriate records as assigned. Incumbents may be required to assist in loading 40 foot trailers for shipment or prepare pallets of assorted materials for worldwide shipping, requiring special knowledge in order to balance the load to meet weight, space, and distribution requirements. * Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with basic math and computer skills. * Preference will be given to those with previous warehousing, material handling, or related work experience. * Experience in operating motorized material handling equipment including forklifts preferred. * If driving heavy machinery equipment is required, a valid operator's license is required that is appropriate for the vehicle(s) to be driven. Onsite training and certification will be required. * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. * Must be able to read and understand English. * Must be able to physically lift/move/push/pull items (up to 50 lbs. alone or occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. with two people) * Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps to store/retrieve items, and operate a pallet jack containing up to 2,500 lbs. * Must be authorized to work in the United States. * Must be Temple Recommend Worthy or have a current Temple Recommend.
