WORKSKILLS: Physically manipulate and transport large and heavy items; alone, in a team and/or using proper equipment. We require to lift anything over 100 lbs. occasionally or anything between 50-100 lbs. on a frequent interval. Ability to operate power equipment such as forklift, picker, and power jack will be an asset. Self-motivated, able to work well with little or no supervision and strong positive attitude. Wool Supply is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate. Duties include loading and unloading trucks, putting stock away, picking orders, shipping and receiving, and other general warehouse tasks. There is room for growth, with opportunities to become a counter or inside salesperson. The ideal candidate will have relevant warehouse experience. Forklift, order picker, hand truck, and pallet jack experience is a plus. The candidate should have ability to physically handle large and heavy items. Receive and check in items that are delivered. Process backorders, fill orders. Place in location or ship out per requests. Essential Functions: other duties may be assigned Check any parts that come in and route to appropriate location. Fill all backorders for customers, pack and place in location for pick up or to be shipped. Apply any freight charges that are due for incoming or outgoing. Prepare parts for shipping. Pack securely. Process claims with carriers. Other Functions: Get customers parts from a given location. Inform salesmen of any irregularities with backorders.
