ABOUT THE ROLE
The Warehouse Associate II - receiving associate at S&S Activewear is responsible for multiple tasks throughout the warehouse. They are responsible for maintaining an organized workstation to assist with streamlining of products to their final destinations within our Automated system. They may assist with training of new hires, delivering and receiving product from the conveyor systems; interfacing with customers; processing of received goods; replenishing product within our automated picking system; fulfilling customer orders; reviewing and packing the orders to verify accuracy and ensure that the product is up to shipping standards.

$19.57 hourly
Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Operate all material handling equipment needed to perform primary role (order picker cart).
* Perform and complete daily safety inspections check list for all equipment used.
* Effectively utilize/operate and navigate the data collection equipment used in the department (RF Scanners, Tablets, etc.)
* Perform discrepancy counts, recounts and user created cycle counts as assigned and directed.
* Unload/Load Trailers
* Provide assistance support to all other functions within the department such as Case Pick, Restock, transfer, pulling, staging and checking.
* Maintain or exceed minimum productivity requirements CPH - count per hour.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 / hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses. Work Hours: * Winter Shift: M/F. 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (No weekends/Nights). * Summer Shift: M/F. 7:30 am - 4:30 pm and Saturdays occasionally (In the morning only).

What to Expect?
The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment.
On a daily basis our Warehouse Associate:
* Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
* Assists in loading the delivery truck.
* Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
* Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
* Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
* Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
* High school diploma or GED.
* Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
* Prior forklift experience.
* Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
* Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.
* To be 18 years of age or older to apply.
