Job DescriptionDescription: Reports to: Operations Manager Supervises: None Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly The Receiving Associate has primary responsibility for ensuring the efficient flow of materials by accurately receiving, staging, and delivering supplies, maintaining organized and compliant storage areas, and supporting shipments and inventory control while upholding safety and food safety standards. Performs reliably and predictably over time. Adjusts well to new situations and changes. Essential Duties: Unload, palletize, and verify all deliveries; enter receipts in NAV. Maintain accurate inventory records, track losses, and rotate stock (FIFO). Pick, stage, and deliver packaging materials to processing as needed. Load outbound shipments and support trailer movements. Operate forklifts and trailers safely and efficiently. Ensure pallets, trailers, and loads are secure and in good repair. Keep storage areas clean, orderly, and compliant with food safety standards. Complete required documentation and follow company food safety policies. Perform additional tasks assigned by the Operations Manager. Work Schedule: Typical hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Two 10-minute paid breaks and a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Requirements: Completion of general safety and basic food safety training (provided by WEF). Training in electric pallet jack and forklift operation (provided by WEF). Steel-toed or composite toe shoes required (WEF provides a shoe compensation plan) Accurate data entry skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to read, speak, and write in English. The ability to interpret documents such as standard operating procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The employee is required to seek assistance in the lifting of more than 50 pounds, or use a forklift to lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, soaps and/or chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to cold, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

What You'll Do The Warehouse Worker will increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely picking, packing, and scanning orders for pickup and delivery while utilizing high reach equipment. Operate a high reach forklift equipment to access and retrieve products from various levels of warehouse racking Inspect products for quality and picking accuracy, ensuring they meet company standards and customer specifications Package selected items securely and appropriately, considering shipping requirements and guidelines Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to appropriate personnel Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment Participate in regular training sessions and safety meetings to enhance your knowledge of warehouse procedures and protocols Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing insights and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and accuracy Willing to work some overtime when needed Other duties as assigned Required for Success One year warehouse experience, with specific experience in high reach forklift Proven experience operating high reach forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment Ability to operate a sit down forklift and pallet jack Ability to count accurately on a repetitive basis Ability to read and operate hand-held RF scan device and use Warehouse Management System Physically able to lift, carry, move etc. products up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally Ability to communicate successfully with leads, supervisors, coworkers and customers as required Self-motivated and willing to work with others Detail-oriented Why You'll Love Us: This is a full-time position which includes a competitive wage and our full benefits package.
