Responsibilities:
* Monitor all passengers to ensure safety is always maintained on the bus.
* Assist students in entering and exiting the bus.
* Perform safety checks on the bus to ensure the safety of all students.
* Know the routes and remain alert to monitor the welfare of passengers while on route.
* Check the school bus for sleeping children.
* Assist driver to safely direct the vehicle in backing safely, when necessary.
* Conduct emergency evacuation from the bus, including us of exiting by emergency door.
* Ability to open and close service doors and move up and down steps multiple times a day.
* Communicate behavior problems and conditions of various bus stops with the driver.
* Liaise with parents on an as-needed basis.
* Assist with maintaining cleanliness of assigned bus.
* Occasionally, attend field trips and special events to ensure passenger safety.

Job Summary:
The Corporate Maintenance Trainer will provide expertise and direction for technical and maintenance support throughout the entire organization to improve technician knowledge, skills, and personal growth while ensuring compliance with vendors, OEM, OSHA/EPA, and company directives and processes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop and implement corporate wide vehicle maintenance training program curriculum.
Ensure all maintenance team members are properly trained on vehicles and components within the fleet including all necessary OE-provisioned troubleshooting software.
Coordinate all maintenance employee OSHA/EPA required training
Coordinate all in-house and vendor-led training functions
Maintain attendance records and training logs for all training in the Maintenance Department
Develop and implement technician development plans for STA locations at technician level to ensure continuous improvement and progression to the next available skill level based on ASE certification programs.
Coordinate with all STA Maintenance managers to understand the developmental and training needs of all maintenance team members.
Monitor internal repair and vendor release repair bulletins and recalls updating training programs.
Works with STA locations to develop Apprenticeship programs.

Must be able to perform physical activities including working on top of coaches and lifting up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

Experience:
Five (5) years of recent progressive heavy equipment maintenance experience required.
ASE Master Certification in one of S-series, T - series, and A- series

**Now Hiring** **Licensed CDL School Bus Drivers** **in** **Monmouth Junction, NJ for Franklin, South Brunswick, & North Brunswick School Districts!**
As a First Student Part Time School Bus Driver you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home.
**Your day will include:**
+ A split shift, which means an early morning before-school pickup and an after-school drop-off with a few free hours in between
+ A guaranteed shift of (4) hours per school day, no working nights or weekends unless you want to
+ Additional hours gained through trips and charters when available
