All positions are part-time and located in the Cobb County PARKS Department and may be filled as a Lifeguard or Lifeguard/Instructor, depending upon qualifications. The water skills will be the pre-requisite for the lifeguarding class if the applicant isn't certified. Applicants may be asked to complete the water skills as part of the interview process. Applicants must pass a pre-course swimming skills test prior to taking lifeguarding courses. Job Description The Swim Instructor is responsible for maintaining a safe and engaging swimming class environment for swimmers by teaching age/level appropriate lessons in accordance with the MJCCA Swim Lessons Curriculum, while also enforcing pool/facility rules and protocols. Essential Functions: Teach private and semi-private swim lessons in accordance with the MJCCA Curriculum. Maintain timeliness with each swim lesson and follow pool schedule closely. The individual should be an Accredited Council Graduate Medical Education training fellow. This position will train under Radiology and Imaging faculty in the area of Breast Imaging while working clinically as a faculty member in the Radiology and Imaging Department of Augusta University Medical Center. This Fellowship is for one academic year only. Faculty instructor in the department of Radiation Diagnostic program provide students with the skills necessary to administer radiation treatments safely and accurately to patients in the clinical setting.
