Job Description Swim Instructor Type: Part Time Salary/Pay Rate: $18.00/ hour Responsibilities of the Swim Instructor - This Swim Instructor position is responsible for instructing group swim classes and private lessons as assigned by the Aquatic Supervisor; evaluating programs and making recommendations for improvements to the Aquatic Supervisor. Swim Instructors will deliver a safe and excellent customer service experience to our residents, members and patrons while enforcing and adhering to existing policies and procedures. The Swim Instructor position will work cooperatively with all Aquatics and facility personnel to promote customer satisfaction with programs and facilities with effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. Group Lesson Instructors and Private Swim Lesson Instructors act as public relations representative for the Aquatics Department and The Center of Clayton. As well as, ensure program safety by monitoring class area and notifying program supervisor of any maintenance or safety concerns, as well as documentation of accidents or incidents.
