As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast-paced environment. You will help both adults and children improve their swimming. You will teach life skills to our youngest members and evaluate their swimming ability to establish the correct swim level. PURPOSE The Instructor Commission develops and presents instructional classes for the Parks and Recreation Department. Work hours will vary. This position reports to the Recreation Coordinator. Operate and maintain a variety of facility and program-related equipment and supplies to ensure that all programs, activities, and facilities operate at optimal levels. Assist the Recreation Coordinator in coordinating with groups to ensure that the recreation center and other facilities are utilized at the maximum level of efficiency, and that such facilities are adequately supervised and maintained during all activities and events. Develops instructional classes. Provides instruction to the Parks and Recreation Department and the public. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent.
