About You: -Friendly and smiley demeanor : ) -Energetic and enjoy working with children -Willing to learn Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques. Responsibilities: Maintain safety in the pools and surrounding pool areas. Provides swim instruction to individuals of all abilities Evaluates students' progress, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner. Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students' swim skills. Uses problem solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours and work schedules. Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and confidence in communicating with EMS. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred.
