Responsibilities
+ Generate preliminary and final design documentation for highway construction and rehabilitation initiatives
+ Engineer roadway components including geometric alignment, earthwork grading, stormwater management systems, and traffic control elements
+ Supervise technical work of engineering staff and conduct quality assurance reviews of design deliverables
+ Coordinate technical communications with project stakeholders, consulting firms, and government regulatory bodies
+ Facilitate project coordination meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation systems
+ Develop engineering solutions that satisfy project parameters within established schedules and financial constraints
+ Perform engineering calculations and technical research to support construction material specifications
+ Analyze project economics and compare alternative design methodologies for optimal performance

Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree advantageous)
+ Current Professional Engineer licensure mandatory
+ 10-15 years transportation engineering experience with highway design specialization
+ Technical competency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer software platforms
+ Demonstrated capability in engineering analysis and technical problem resolution

- Collaborate with lab staff to plan for and manage laboratory samples throughout the length of the study, including review of the laboratory manual.
- Ensure study drug is dispensed, accounted for and returned to the Sponsor per protocol.
- Ensure Serious Adverse Events (SAE's) are reported to Principal Investigator, Sponsor, and IRB (through Regulatory) within 24 hours of site being notified of event, including collecting all required information for initial and follow-up reporting.
- Ensure visit logs and CTMS visit status are accurate and complete.
- Facilitate ongoing Quality Assurance (QA) review of studies, in collaboration with the QA department, including assisting with risk assessments, root cause analysis, and development of corrective and preventative actions as applicable.

Education and Experience
- 4-year degree in related field or NYS LPN License required, or related experience as a clinical trial coordinator.
- At least three years' experience in clinical research setting.
