Overview: The Tampa Bay Academy of Hopes goal is for all young people to realize their full potential and to thrive in our innovation driven economy and society. The Fostering Aspirations: Mentor Engagement (FAME) Program aims to empower and support youth ages 10 to 17, through one-on-one and/or group mentorship, providing them with the guidance, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their personal and academic goals.
Position Summary: The Program Manager is a pivotal leadership role within the Tampa Bay Academy of Hope's FAME program, responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operation and success of the program. This includes developing and executing program strategies, managing staff, establishing community partnerships, and ensuring the program meets its goals of mentoring youth within Hillsborough and Polk Counties, Florida.
Principal Responsibilities
Program Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the programs objectives, focusing on impactful mentoring relationships and family engagement.
Staff Management: Manage and monitor program staff, including Youth Advocates, Program Assistants, Mentor Coordinators, Family Navigator, Employment Specialist, and Data/Systems Manager. Define staff roles clearly and evaluate performance regularly.
Policy and Procedure Development: Formulate and implement programmatic policies and procedures that standardize and enhance program operations across all components.
Training and Development: Provide robust training for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff to ensure high competence in program delivery and operations.
Field Visits: Conduct regular field visits with staff to oversee program implementation and provide on-the-spot guidance and support.
Community Partnerships: Develop strategic community partnerships and draft Memorandum of Understandings to enhance program reach and efficacy.
Orientation and Training: Lead orientations and training sessions for mentors, mentees, and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared for their roles within the program.
Event Planning: Organize and oversee quarterly events for parents and children, as well as monthly activities for mentees and mentors, fostering community and engagement within the program.
Program Evaluation: Regularly review and update the program model to incorporate best practices and feedback from participants and staff.
Documentation: Develop a comprehensive policies and procedures manual within the first one hundred days of hire.
Community Engagement: Plan and host an open house to introduce the community to the mentoring model and the benefits of the FAME program.
School Outreach: Meet with middle and high school principals to promote and integrate the FAME mentoring program.
Leadership and Culture: Uphold and propagate the leadership philosophy within the workplace, ensuring a culture of respect, integrity, and collaboration.
Expectations and Goals for the Program Manager
Develop at least twelve new partnerships each year: Forge new community and organizational partnerships to broaden the reach and impact of the program.
Recruit and register at least 150 mentees each year: Ensure FAME reaches its capacity by actively recruiting and engaging eligible youth throughout the community.
Recruit and train at least 125 mentors per year: Establish a robust mentor base by attracting and providing high-quality training to new mentors.
Review goals with program staff and develop plans to meet all program outcomes: Regularly assess program effectiveness, adjust strategies, and guide staff towards achieving program goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in program management, ideally within a non-profit or educational setting.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and community partnerships.
Proficiency in managing budgets and resources.
Ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic environment.
Required Goals include:
Mentoring Rate 80% of participants in the mentoring program shall receive mentoring services for at least one school year or one full year.
Mentor Recruitment:
Recruit and train at least 125 ongoing mentors to the FAME program each year.
Mentee Recruitment - Recruit and enroll at least 150 mentees each year: Ensure FAME reaches its capacity by actively recruiting and engaging eligible youth.
Mentor Training
Provide mentor orientation and training at least twice a month. There must be a Saturday session training available at least once per month.
Partnership Development
Develop at least twelve new partnerships each year: Forge new community and organizational partnerships to broaden the reach and impact of program.
Participant Retention
Provide at least one annual recognition event for participating mentors.
Provide monthly reports to the executive director as updates on the program progress and goals. Complete quarterly reports by the 15th of the month following the close of the quarter for the funder.

Case Manager Renew and Empower Program Reports To: Program Manager Renew and Empower
The Case Manager will provide comprehensive reentry and empowerment support to justice-impacted individuals participating in the Renew and Empower Program. The Case Manager will be responsible for intake, assessment, individualized service planning, and ongoing case management to ensure participants successfully transition into stable housing, obtain vocational training, and achieve long-term employment. This position is based out of the Tampa office and will involve regular collaboration with community partners, employers, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct participant intakes, eligibility screenings, and needs assessments.
Develop individualized case management plans that address housing, vocational training, employment, and supportive service needs.
Provide consistent one-on-one case management, mentoring, and guidance to support participant success.
Connect participants to vocational training opportunities and track progress toward industry-recognized certifications.
Coordinate referrals for supportive services including housing, transportation, healthcare, benefits navigation, and counseling.
Maintain strong employer and community partnerships to expand second-chance hiring opportunities.
Document all participant interactions and progress in compliance with program and grant reporting requirements.
Facilitate group sessions and workshops on life skills, financial literacy, and job readiness.
Monitor participant progress, identify barriers, and implement problem-solving strategies to keep participants engaged.
Collaborate with the Program Manager and team members to meet program goals and outcomes.
Goals and Performance Expectations
Enroll and maintain a consistent caseload of participants as assigned.
Ensure at least 80% of participants complete one or more industry-recognized certifications within the program year.
Support at least 70% of active participants in securing stable employment or entering advanced training/apprenticeships.
Achieve timely completion of participant assessments, case notes, and progress documentation with 100% compliance to reporting deadlines.
Provide individualized barrier resolution strategies for each participant, ensuring access to housing, transportation, or benefits when needed.
Conduct a minimum of two employer or community partner engagements per month to strengthen participant opportunities.
Maintain participant retention and engagement rates in alignment with program and grant expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of 2 years experience in case management, workforce development, reentry services, or related human services.
Strong understanding of barriers faced by justice-impacted individuals and knowledge of community resources.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems.

Overview:
Tampa Bay Academy of Hope's Promoting Abstinence Through Health and Self-Awareness (PATHS) Program is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight to our comprehensive sexual health and self-awareness education program. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the program's success through administrative coordination, personnel management, and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Oversight:
Provide daily administrative leadership and oversight of the PATHS Program.
Ensure compliance with program guidelines, reporting requirements, and contractual obligations.
Manage program budgets and financial resources effectively.
Personnel Management:
Supervise a team of Facilitators, Volunteer Recruiters, Outreach/Intake Recruiters, Program Assistant, and Volunteers.
Provide guidance, training, and support to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans as needed.
SRAE Training and Curriculum:
Oversee the implementation of the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) curriculum.
Ensure staff and mentors receive proper training in program content and delivery.
Youth and Mentor Recruitment:
Develop and execute strategies for recruiting youth participants and volunteer mentors.
Coordinate outreach efforts to schools, community organizations, and local agencies.
Mentor Training:
Organize and facilitate mentor training sessions to prepare volunteers for their roles.
Provide ongoing support and resources to mentors throughout their involvement in the program.
Service Provider Partnerships:
Manage partnerships with service providers and contractors, ensuring the fulfillment of program requirements and objectives.
Collaborate with external partners to enhance program offerings and resources.
Youth File Review and Outcome Assessment:
Conduct regular reviews of student files and data to assess program outcomes.
Use data-driven insights to refine program strategies and improve youth outcomes.
Evaluation Reporting:
Contribute to the oversight of program evaluation activities and reporting.
Assist in collecting and analyzing data to demonstrate program effectiveness.
Network Building and Collaboration:
Actively engage in building and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Seek opportunities for collaboration and networking to expand program reach and impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of [X] years of experience in program management, youth development, or related fields.
Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
Knowledge of Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) programs and curriculum preferred.

Working Conditions:
Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities.
Work location: Main office at 7402 N 56th Street, Suite 400, Tampa, FL 33617.
Regular travel to the Polk County, Florida office at 711 N Kentucky Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801 (mileage compensation provided at .655/mile).
The Program Manager will contribute 100% of their time to program activities, focusing on the successful implementation and growth of the PATHS Program.
