RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead the Mission Ops Specialist team through install and operations of mission critical communication systems to include: networking, hyper-converged infrastructure, Active Directory, audio, video, and data processing Prioritize and schedule work to meet required timelines Provide feedback and progress updates to project stakeholders Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot cabling infrastructure systems and perform repairs as necessary Coordinate with other contractors and project teams as needed Collaborate with the communication engineers and telecommunication specialist in system designs, selection of materials, and creation of documentation Interface with external carriers (private and government) at cross-connect facilities, and transition points Provide superior customer service to ABL launch customers Provide QA and auditing before and after work Maintain the integrity of the documentation of all installations including assets, locations, connectivity, and the patch record databases Assist with the creation of local and companywide installation and workmanship standards Provide ongoing feedback, periodic review, and corrective action to direct reports Review timesheets, manage overtime and time off requests Verify compliance with OSHA regulations and ABL safety requirements Evaluate, recruit, and hire stellar candidates for open positions in the team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalency certificate8+ years of communication systems experience5+ years prior leadership experience (leading teams, projects or people) Fundamental understanding of IT systems Expert understanding of IT operations
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Proven ability to install, terminate and test low voltage and fiber optical cables; including twisted pair cable, coax, stranded and solid conductor low voltage cable, single mode and multi-mode fiber optical cables Proficient in the use of Visio or other CAD software to read and develop system documentation Experience in the installation and operation of RF communication systems IP and HD-SDI Video cameras and infrastructure Comprehension of modern networking architecture and what is necessary for physical layer inter-connectivity Working knowledge of electrical systems including UPS and standby power systems Sound knowledge of computer skills, MS Words, Excel, and Power Point

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENTS:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time Ability to use a computer to complete assignments Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence While performing the duties of this job, the employee will typically work in an office environment Previous launch company or hazardous industrial IT systems experience Ability to travel (up to 50% ) as required to common destinations including El Segundo, Mojave Air & Space Port, Kodiak Alaska, Vandenberg Air Force Base, and SaxaVord (UK)

Advises on best-practices for all technical aspects of live show production & operation. Provides support to touring personnel to maximize the efficiency of our technical operations. Oversees the assignment of crew personnel for ice & stage and floor shows

Essential FunctionsCreates & maintains best-practice, training, and reference materials for technical aspects of live show production & operations.Provides support to touring personnel to maximize operating efficiency.Advises on and assists with the creation of show documentation, technical manuals, truck loads, etc.Oversees the planning & execution of refurbishment of all touring shows under the direction of Ice & Stage Operations.Oversees the assignment / placement of stagehands for all touring shows under the direction of Ice & Stage Operations.Advises on industry trends & new technical equipment Conducts site visits & technical advance work for new venues in conjunction with show personnel Plan and Advise on the set up of the rehearsal halls for all touring shows under the direction of Ice & Stage Operations in conjunction with show support, building operations and show personnel. QualificationsExperience working with and supervising large, multi-national groups, and unionized labor (e.g. Equity, I.A.T.S.E, Teamsters, etc.)10 years experience in technical operations for live touring productions Knowledge of MS Office & computer drafting applications Must possess a valid driver's license and passport; and be willing to travel in the U.S. and internationally for weeks at a time Knowledge of theatrical terms and directions, stagecraft, lighting, audio engineering, stage set construction, basic wood and metal fabrication, domestic and international logistic planning, basic rigging techniques / safety, visa / immigration processes; and the ability to evaluate ice skating and theatrical performances

As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for supporting large complex IT systems - these applications are often high-volume mission critical systems and would provide you an exposure to a broad range of technologies across all Cloud and on prem systems. You will work with global functional and technical teams on engagements that leverage a high degree of automation, the latest technologies and cut across support and development work. You will need to understand functional requirements and should be able to support specific technologies, develop technical designs, develop, customize, and test completing the lifecycle from design to ongoing support.

Work you'll do/Responsibilities:

+ Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications, processes and systems as needed;

+ Develop solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes in projects;

+ Assess the impacts on technical design because of the changes in functional requirements;

+ Perform independent code reviews and execute unit tests on modules developed by self and other junior team members on the project;

+ Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code;

+ Perform detailed reviews on deliverables, providing technical guidance to the team, you'll manage teams, on and offshore and work with client stakeholders;

+ Interact with other stakeholders not limited to end-user clients, Project Manager/Scrum Master, Business Analysts, offshore development, testing and other cross-functional teams.

The Team

Core Technology Operations practitioners work on the design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large scale ground-up custom developed applications, to Cloud-based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector-focused packages. As a member of this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as user interface/user experience development, integration services, business rules engine solutions, or Cloud-based services.

Qualifications

Required• Experience working with globally distributed technology teams, with strong team leadership experience managing onshore and offshore teams;

+ 8-10+ years' experience in application support including "lights on" support services, development and customization;

+ A solid understanding of the ITIL framework;

+ Current hands-on development skills in at least one of the following: 1) Java; 2) .Net; 3) Mainframe;

+ A strong understanding of the fundamentals of software engineering with the ability to successfully articulate technology concepts to both a business and a technology audience;

+ Experience working in an Agile environment. Hybrid experience in addition is a plus;

+ Experience working in a multi-vendor environment and with third parties;

+ 8-10+ years' experience with programming and software development, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, upgrading software systems;

+ A willingness to travel 50 percent of time nationally - on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred• Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, engineering or a related discipline;• Ability to develop design, test and deployment documentation;• Experience with Bot, AI, and ML technologies;

+ Ability to quickly learn and deliver on analogous technologies not previously worked on;

+ Ability to communicate clearly across project teams;

+ Experience in an application support environment which should include working in Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure);

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
