Job Description
The Temper Mill Operator will be responsible for production, quality, and efficiency of the temp mill while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Must be diligent in reading work orders and in procedure to ensure proper end product, including gauge tolerances, coil shape and correct temper.
Record all temper pass reductions and alert Plant Manager of any deviations.
Organize orders and run to efficiencies as able while adhering to schedule.
Ensure that the machine is being run in a efficient, productive and safe manner at all times.
Maintain work rolls and schedule grindings of work rolls.
Experience in Rolling Mill is not required but beneficial.
Temper Mill Operator must have strong organizational and math skills, mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Lull / Rough Terrain Operators are responsible for running machinery such as a rough terrain lull or rough terrain forklift.
ROUTINE DUTIES:
Transporting block from the stock area to the work area
Setting up scaffolding
Loading/unloading trucks
Running the Grout Hog
And other assigned duties
You CANNOT operate these machines without taking the operator training class and obtaining a permit. The operator training class is offered at the shop

Roll Forming Operator
We are searching for talented Roll Forming Operator to join us!
We teach you to become a skilled Roll Forming Operator
Set up, operate, and adjust roll forming machines according to production requirements and blueprints
Operate Yoder roll forming machine
Operate hydraulic cut-off machines
Clean machines, check coils for feed and cut-off
Assist with coil change covers
Load raw material into equipment and ensure proper alignment
Monitor machine operation to ensure continuous production and identify potential issues
Perform routine quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment and work area clean and organized

Premium 10-hour shift:
Monday through Thursday 5:30am to 4pm
Friday 5:30am to 2pm

Requirements:
Hands-on mechanical knowledge
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Able to read and interpret documents i.e. safety rules, work instructions, prints, and control plans.
Ability to use various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other hand tools.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to lift 50 pounds infrequently.
Ability to perform excessive walking, standing, bending, climbing, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
Ability to run machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
The position is occasionally exposed to fumes, coolants and will work near moving mechanical parts.
Ability to work M-F, and overtime if needed
