The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for helping The Iowa Clinic optimize our clinical documentation workflows, aiming to simplify and regulate documentation across multiple clinical sites. This role works as a liaison between clinical operations, quality improvement, and information technology teams to drive and standardize documentation practices, enhance data integrity, and support regulatory reporting requirements. Job Duties and Responsibilities Workflow Optimization * Assess, map, and analyze current clinical documentation workflows to identify inefficiencies and gaps for process improvement. * Design, implement, and maintain standardized documentation templates and processes across care settings. * Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure workflows align with evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
