General Purpose: Support The Vanguard School athletic objective, policy of interscholastic athletics, and CHSAA regulations. The school believes that extra-curricular activities are an integral part of school life. All students, regardless of their ability should take part if possible, to be able to grow physically, intellectually, and socially through participation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform duties as High School Track and Field Sprints Coach.
Be knowledgeable of and implement the planned system and style of play.
Enforce all athletic regulations.
Attend meetings and clinics organized and conducted by the Coach, Athletic Director or Principal.
Demonstrate proper active supervision during all scheduled activities or student-athletes including, but not limited to, game, practice, locker room, and transportation.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of skill development, training techniques, fundamentals, game strategy, and the rules of the sport.
Be responsible for the care, distribution, and collection of school equipment, supplies and uniforms.
Communicate both verbally and in writing (as appropriate to the situation) and cooperate productively with all the sports public including, but not limited to, student-athletes, parents, administrators, and the press. Keep the team informed of practice schedules and team obligations.
Develop and maintain a positive rapport with students, athletes, parents, and assistant coaches throughout the program.
Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports by encouraging athletes to play more than one sport.
Practice professional conduct during events and practices. Exemplify high standards of personal conduct and habits.
Cultivate and model a respectful working and learning environment.
Positively represents the school and its mission to the students, parents, colleagues, and general public.
Ability to work cooperatively with school staff and administration.

Minimum Requirements:
Coach certification(s) required according to CHSAA rules.
Ability to work successfully with student athletes, parents, assistant coaches, and other school staff.
Ability to perform coaching responsibilities in accordance with school procedures and policies.
Current first aid/CPR card must have.
Maintain integrity of confidential information relating to students, staff, or district patrons.
The ability to work harmoniously with others.
Must complete all training and paperwork required to be placed on the schools approved driver list.
Experience:
Experience in and/or knowledge of the sport, coaching techniques, and student supervision.
Coaching experience preferred.
The High School Track and Field Sprints Coach must submit to and pass a CBI / FBI fingerprint background check, and a motor vehicle check as a condition of employment.

SUMMARY:
Responsible for supporting the efficient and professional operation of the transportation department. Provide general administrative and support to the Director of Transportation and department staff by performing assigned department processes/projects, answering and screening phone calls, greeting the public, preparing written communication, receiving and responding to inquiries and requests, performing department financial responsibilities, creating reports, and maintaining office appearance and operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily dispatch and respond to two-way radio and telephone communications. Handing out driver keys, providing sub driver assignments, handling inquiries/requests/visitors, directing those requiring attention to the appropriate department manager. Assist department in translating spanish speaking interpretations.
Support Transportation Director in getting department tasks and projects completed on time. Support the Director in all areas to ensure the department runs smoothly and as efficient as possible. Schedule and maintain Transportation Directors calendar appointments. Coordinate and schedule meetings as required. Arrange meeting sites and other logistical needs. Develop correspondence for Transportation Director and Office Manager.
Submit and process invoices. Match and total invoices with purchase orders and record for transportation's budget. Exercise strict management control over Transportation purchases budgets. Pay invoices using the department credit card. Run fuel usage reports from WEX system. Collaborate with the Fleet Manager and finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of billing for submitted receipts.
Printing paw passes for parents that come into the transportation department. As well as, utilize Zonar to generate and monitor Paw Passes for Parents/Students as new or replacements and process registration of current and new bus riders.
Support office staff with daily projects as needed.
Sort and distribute US and district mail relating to Transportation.
Monitor department budgets including ordering, billing, and bookkeeping and provide the Transportation Director with monthly budget status reports. Order merchandise, office supplies, or any other department ordering needs.
Filing paperwork. (ie. such as student behavior write ups and providing drivers with the copy.)
Coordinate department meetings, potlucks, department events, etc.
Perform all other usual administrative assistant responsibilities associated with a productive, efficiently organized office.
Cover Routes as needed including driving routes and riding along on routes for para duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus technical courses in office management, administration, and/or computers skills.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of secretarial experience.
May require specific knowledge of and experience with assigned department's functions.
Bus driving experience and experience working with children is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS:
Criminal background check required for hire.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Commercial driver's license (CDL), Department of Transportation physical exam, and "B" license with P2-S endorsement preferred at the time of hire. Must be obtained upon completion of the District training within 4 weeks after hire.

The starting salary range for this position has been established as:
$73,902 - $100,200

Position Summary
The Associate Director for EUC Operations is the primary administrative contact for Elliott University Center and manages all daily operations of the EUC facility, a building that hosts approximately 12,000 events and meetings annually. This position is the primary policy creator and evaluator for the EUC departmental building procedures and protocol pertaining to customer service interactions and incident documentation. Additionally, the incumbent is the first departmental on-call contact for emergencies in EUC during business hours and after hours/on weekends.
Through directly supervising the Manager of Technology Services and indirectly supervising the Coordinator of Technology Services, the Associate Director of EUC is responsible for all audio/visual functions, including equipment ordering and maintenance, as well as creating and maintaining plans for short- and long-term future equipment purchases.
The Associate Director supervises and trains the front desk student workers and student facility managers (approximately 35 total students), ensuring weekday and weekend coverage.
The Associate Director coordinates daily with facilities staff for housekeeping and maintenance needs and is the primary liaison with building tenants. This position is responsible for scheduling and spearheading regular meetings with building tenants to advise of changes that may affect operations, gather feedback, and foster a collaborative working relationship with each office as the EUC subject matter expert and first point of contact. The Associate Director works closely with departments housed in EUC to create and execute plans for office modifications and renovations.
The Associate Director of EUC oversees events in the EUC Auditorium and the Cone Ballroom, ensuring adherence with building and safety policies, and provides the primary interface with the campus community and external guests hosting events in the building, to ensure the outcomes align with the expectations of the host.

This position manages and oversees all daily functions and operations of Elliott University Center:
Ensures adherence to EUC departmental guidelines around tabling, such as ensuring tabling groups do not block high-traffic areas and continue to maintain safety protocol, enter and exit at the pre-approved times, and are provided with pre-requested resources if being provided by the department.
Oversees reservations and installations for EUC outdoor banners.
Ensures the departmental Business Officer has all required information to complete student personnel hiring and time entry in a timely and accurate manner each month.
Ensures guests' A/V needs are met by scheduling and leading logistics meetings with the Manager of Technology as needed to review upcoming reservations and events in order to better anticipate A/V needs.
Primary contact for EUC events.
Analyzes and assesses the EUC operations, facilities, and event management for annual reports and bi-weekly meetings with the supervisor.
Consults with University Communications and Facilities Operations to ensure the facility is displaying university-branded items (signage, decals, paint colors, banners, wraps, etc.).
Creates and maintains a preventative maintenance list (projects related to carpet replacement, floor maintenance, window cleaning, painting, etc.)
Supervision:
Supervises the Manager of Technology Services (1.0 FTE), including weekly one-on-one meetings to ensure audio/visual equipment is functioning as designed.
Manages and modifies the 5-year furniture/equipment replacement plan in consultation with the Manager of Technology Services to plan for upcoming A/V technology purchases.
Reviews for accuracy and approves leave time management for the Manager of Technology Services.
Selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates student employee managers, student Information Desk attendants, and student Facility Managers, a combined total of approximately 35 students performing duties that are necessary to carry out EUC's daily operations.
Remains aware of the duties and performance of the Coordinator of Technology Services, an indirect report who is directly supervised by the Manager of Technology Services.

The Associate Director of EUC completes at least one daily walk-through of the building and outdoor areas to note and promptly address any issues of concern. Responsible for completing, submitting, and managing the follow-through for work orders to University Facilities Operations to address building repairs that cannot be completed by the department.
Oversees necessary repairs as the EUC departmental liaison to University Facilities Operations.
Manages events held in the Cone Ballroom and EUC auditorium by taking on a project management role to coordinate with EUC Reservations, the Manager of Technology Services, the Director, and other areas/offices as needed to ensure events run smoothly.
Creates and enforces policies and protocols pertaining to customer service interactions and incident documentation in the building. Follows up on concerns and complaints regarding customer experience.

Job Tasks Descriptions
1. Ensure safety of athletes, coaches, program participants and spectators by observing swimmers and spectator areas at all times, correct unsafe behavior, effectively responds to emergency situations, perform lifesaving procedures and assist patrons. Enforce VMAC rules and regulations.
2. Perform daily facility checks on equipment to meet manufacturer and State health code regulations and complete facility reports daily. Provide facility support by performing cleaning of pool and pump room, including, but not limited to, emergency clean-up anywhere in the facility. May assist with snow clearance of walkways as needed.
3. Perform set-up and take down of events and practices taking place at the VMAC to include, but not limited to, moving of bulkheads, lane lines, timing system, computers, tables, chairs, platforms, etc.
4. Required to attend mandatory monthly staff training and/or meetings.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

Western Colorado University invites applications for the summer position of Junior Mountaineers Camp (JMC) Day Camp Lead Instructor. Both part-time and full-time summer JMC Lead Instructor positions are available. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm.
Responsibilities: The position reports to the Junior Mountaineers Camp Director and is responsible for leading, supervising, and educating youth ages 5-18 through hands-on STEAM learning, outdoor recreation, and physical activity. Lead Instructors work with JMC Instructors to design, plan, and facilitate engaging lessons and activities aligned with weekly camp themes, support a safe and inclusive camp environment, communicate with families during drop-off and pick-up, and manage camper behavior. This is an on-campus, in-person position running from late May through August.
Qualifications: Valid CPR/AED, First Aid, and Medication Administration Certifications (will be provided). Must be at least 18 years of age.
State Licensing Requirements:
* Ability to pass state-licensed required CBI, FBI, Trails background checks
* Complete and submit annual health history
* Must have at least three (3) months (455 hours) of full-time or equivalent part-time satisfactory and verifiable experience with school-age children or a current early childhood professional credential level one or higher
* Three hours of biking experience

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in STEAM, Outdoor Recreation / Education, Parks & Recreation, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Education, or other related fields. Experience working in a youth camp, teaching science/physical education/elementary education to youth ages 5-18. Red Cross lifeguard certification or eight (8) hours of documented experience indicating knowledge and skill in watercraft instruction and documented experience of engaging in the activity within the past two (2) years. Knowledge of CDHS State Licensing Rules & Regulations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform duties as High School Boys Volleyball Head Coach.
Be knowledgeable of and implement the planned system and style of play.
Enforce all athletic regulations and take initiative in making proposals for improvement in the program through the Athletic Director and Principal
Attend meetings and clinics organized and conducted by the Athletic Director, or Principal
Demonstrate proper active supervision during all scheduled activities or student-athletes including, but not limited to, game, practice, locker room, and transportation.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of skill development, training techniques, fundamentals, game strategy, and the rules of the sport.
