Performs inmate classification reviews and reclassifications as necessary. Prepares, enters, and updates custody information in custody management system; updates inmate custody and release date information based upon work credits, good behavior credits, disciplinary sanctions, and enrollment or termination from work credit eligible programs to ensure inmate release dates are current and accurate. Prepares court docket information and files for court appearances. Assists in creating a positive and supportive work environment; enforces a safe workplace; establishes a culture of teamwork and communication; creates a workplace that promotes the organizational values of workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion; and actively promotes an environment respectful of living and working in a multicultural society. Electronically monitors complex public safety radio frequencies and serves as the central point of contact for all internal communications from sworn personnel on mobile radios, telephones, or intercoms. Oversees inmate property storage and release; maintains control of a variety of jail equipment, key, and clothing inventories; and issues equipment and keys to jail line staff at each shift change.
