Tire Installation and Replacement: Remove and install tires on vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment. Perform tire service as required to ensure optimal performance and safety. Ensure tires are safely and properly inflated to manufacturer-recommended specifications,. Tire Repair and Maintenance: Perform tire patching, plugging, or other repairs as needed. Report any issues or potential hazards in the yard and pad to the supervisor. Complete and sign off on work orders as required Complete Waste Tire Manifests as required for CalRecycle Team Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other technicians and yard staff to coordinate tire-related tasks and operations. Provide assistance to team members when necessary and contribute to team goals. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience as a tire technician or in a related role (preferably in a yard or fleet environment) is preferred. Experience with tire mounting, balancing, and repair techniques is a plus. Skills: Strong knowledge of tire types, sizes, and usage specifications.
