Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a commercial vehicle from transfer stations to landfills, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Navigate and position trailers on a tipper safely Unhook trailer before tipping load Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) Immediately report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to Operations and Safety Managers Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company safety policies Schedule: Monday- Friday Saturdays as needed. 3 runs per day. Load and unload materials from trucks. Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving heavy objects on job sites. Assist in setting up and maintaining job sites by preparing materials and ensuring proper site organization. Ensure trucks are properly maintained, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting any issues. Follow all safety regulations and company policies during transportation and labor activities. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress and site needs. Job Requirements: Valid CDL (Class A) with a clean driving record. Ability to perform physical labor tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and standing for long periods. Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in construction or similar industries. Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and reliable.
