health care and retirement
Flexible schedule, rewarding work, great supervisors who were helpful and reassuring, solid pay
Hours per week were always dependent on the amount of work, so workload/pay was very inconsistent
Civic engagement!
Working in the communities and helping people understand the importance of the Census.
I personally enjoyed working with the Enumerators I managed and I don't have any things I didn't like about it.
Being a manager and working remotely. I enjoyed training the Enumerators every day.
Management rewarded self-starters, collaboration with fellow team members, variation in workdays. I was given more responsibility once they determined I had an excellent work ethic and professionalism.
The process of distributing the addresses to enumerate was flawed in that multiple workers would get units in the same building...which made it difficult to work with the property manager. The outcome was a collaboration with other team workers and good communication amongst management to shift assignments.
Flexibility in the workweek and ability to work at home for part of the assignment.
