This position supervises the processing of inmates at the Liberty County Jail. MAJOR DUTIES Processes inmates entering and leaving the facility. Maintains accurate logs of inmate personal property and of jail property assigned to inmates. Maintains accurate logs of all booking activities and security equipment. Maintains and monitor security points. Prepares incident reports. Obtains and prints inmate fingerprints and submits to national database. Receive bail and bond monies; enters monies to inmate accounts. Monitors inmate safety and security. Administers first-aid as needed. Searches inmates to locate contraband. Maintains accurate records of all funds and medications entering the jail. Maintains accurate count of inmates. Supervises the feeding of inmates. Operates security doors. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions.
