EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study preferred, such as Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Sociology, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of supervisory experience and education from which comparable and demonstrable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
8 years of experience in security operations/loss prevention, program management, or facility security in a critical infrastructure environment. Required minimum 7 years of experience with a proven track record in team leadership, including setting objectives, coaching staff, fostering collaboration across departments, and driving operational results, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer proficiency in general business software is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of Department of Homeland Security Programs.
Knowledge in managing and understanding physical security assets, as well as supporting and executing contract agreements with security service vendors, is preferred.
Strong problem and decision solving skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to travel for professional development and support Company Mission and Values, is required.
Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional Certification preferred.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Coordinate, establish, implement, and maintain all Security procedures for the protection of company personnel, contractors, visitors, guests and assets.
Lead facility contract security services teams, with a working knowledge of state and local statues governing contract security operations, and local / area law enforcement, as needed.
Manage facility access control processes for employees, contractors, visitors and delivery entry to the assigned site(s).
Administer access controls for vehicles and property entering and leaving the assigned site(s).
Manage contractor screening and site orientation processes for the assigned site(s).
Create and manage applicable expense and capital budgets for the security programs at the assigned site(s).
Maintain all Security systems including electronic access control, security alarms systems, CCTV, fencing and gates, and other physical security equipment, as needed and partner with the Corporate Physical Security Specialist, the administration of the listed systems,
Maintain Security Operations Center (SOC) for routine enterprise-wide monitoring, internal and external communications and dispatch for emergency response services, and routing of external calls to appropriate personnel.
Respond to emergencies. Support and participate in all facility response plans and activities, including environmental, safety, security and transportation emergencies, and fulfill assigned role(s) within the established Incident Command System (ICS) structure for designated site(s).
Fulfill the responsibilities of Facility SecurityOfficer or Assistant Facility SecurityOfficer at assigned facilities and maintain prerequisite training for holding these designations.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements regarding all Corporate Security programs areas and oversee the regulatory requirements by various agencies.
Coordinate with site stakeholders to ensure awareness of and compliance with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Programs.
Lead site investigations involving security and/or company policy, standard, procedure, or rule violations as assigned.
Provide Leadership in facility incident investigations, DHS, and other security compliance audits, reviews and inspections.
Establish and maintain liaison relationships with local and area supporting law enforcement, public emergency response organizations, and DHS inspectors.
Perform oversight security risk assessments and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities. Interact with facility management and outside local representatives, law enforcement and emergency personnel.

Maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets
Ensure managed operations and personnel adhere to all EHS&S policies, standards, and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements. Effectively and efficiently manage resources in the implementation of the security program, and site security projects, and other assigned responsibilities.

Environment and Physical Factors
This position requires the ability to walk/climb over difficult and uneven terrain to make inspections; the ability to lift objects weighing up to approximately 10 lbs. from the floor to the waist; the ability to ascend and descend stairs; and visual acuity to inspect projects. This position performs work outside in extreme temperatures and potentially hazardous environments such as abandoned buildings or new construction
Qualifications and Compensation
Community Standards Officer I: $25.13 - $29.14 per hour, dependent upon the following qualifications:
Minimum: High school diploma or G.E.D.; Must have two years of prior experience in code enforcement or a closely related public contact position; or equivalent experience, education or training. Must possess and maintain a valid driver s license.
Desired: Experience in a municipal court setting.
Community Standards Officer II: $27.29 - $31.64 per hour, dependent upon the following qualifications:
Minimum: High school diploma or G.E.D.; Must have four years of prior experience in code enforcement or a closely related public contact and enforcement position. Must have some experience in a municipal court setting. Must possess and maintain a valid driver s license.

The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Other responsibilities include: preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting your apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist must report any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. General Description and Purpose
Responsible for enforcing all policies and procedures that are applicable to the security of the students, employees, and facilities of Pratt Community College. Assists the Vice President of Finance & Operations and other PCC officials with investigation as required.
Primary Functions/Responsibilities
1. Responsible for security within and without the PCC complex while on duty.
2. Lock physical facilities each night.
3. Maintains, updates, and retain necessary files relating to security.
4. Assist students, employees, and visitors on the campus with auto troubles by contacting for service when needed.
5. Provide parking lot supervision for large events.
6. Provide security at PCC athletic events, fine arts events, graduation, or special events.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge in security procedures and laws regarding the security function at the community college level by reading security publications and attending seminars.
8. Complete security logs each day and incident reports as needed.
Coordination and Accountability Tasks
Advise Vice President of Finance and Operations of security needs and laws regarding security enforcement at the community college level.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and other Characteristics
1. Ability to work in an environment that requires variable hours.
2. Ability to defuse emotional situations.
3. Willingness to stand up to and face down potential violent situations.
4. Knowledge of law enforcement procedures as they relate to apprehending and holding individuals suspected of violations.
5. Knowledge of fundamental investigation techniques.
6. Be fair, honest, deliberate, and equitable.
Experience
1. Minimum of two years experience as a law enforcement officer preferred.
2. Two years experience as a securityofficer with a campus security program preferred.
3. Two years security experience preferred.
Education
1. High school diploma or its equivalent preferred, Associate's degree in related field preferred.
2. K.L.E.T.C. qualified (or equivalent) preferred.
Certifications and/or Licensure
Work Conditions/Environment
Position requires providing security to students, employees and visitors on campus. Potential violent situations may occur.
Other
Position requires evening and weekend work. Other variable hours may be required.
