    Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contractor SAP (Special Access Program) Security Officer to join our team. This position is located in Owego NY. As a key member of our Program Security and Compliance team, you will play a critical role in protecting sensitive capabilities and warfighting systems that support U.S. and ally interests. At Lockheed Martin, we never forget who we are working for and to support our customers, team members are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and must have a solid level of understanding of industrial security regulations and procedures, including experience administering provisions of the DOD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manual, Intelligence Community Directive 705, DOD 5105.21 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Manuals and 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 NISPOM. The successful candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of Special Programs or Industrial Security compliance measures and related disciplines. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work solutions to a range of complex issues and ensure program integrity and compliance. This position is primarily a first shift, 4X10 (M-Th) work schedule but mission driven elements may require some extended hours to include nights and weekends. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain all required clearances and accesses. Responsibilities: • Administer the SAP Nomination Process, including processing, logging, tracking, and preparing incoming and outgoing SAP & SCI Nomination packages. • Conduct annual SETA requirements, provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post Travel briefings, and annual refresher briefings as necessary. • Maintain classified document and media control, including logs tracking documents in transition. • Perform administrative security functions, such as organizing and filing program security paperwork. • Maintain end-of-day logs, safe checks, visitor logs, and pass-down logs. • Conduct self-inspections and manage preparations for security compliance inspections by government security personnel. • Assist the government with physical security and provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required. • Process and track incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests. • Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government. • Assist the Lead CSSO and Team with additional security responsibilities as needed. Requirements: • Active Top Secret clearance within a 5-year scope, or eligibility to reinstate a TS clearance with a 5-year scope. • Ability to obtain and maintain SAP & SCI access(es). • Strong understanding of security principles, procedures, and regulations. • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
