Under minimal direction from supervisory staff, performs a wide variety of often strenuous physical tasks associated with the maintenance of campus grounds using appropriate methods and techniques. Tasks in this category include but are not limited to turf, shrub, and planting bed maintenance, assistance with tree work, repairs to and maintenance of roadways, parking areas, walkways and associated features, and snow and ice removal. Also performs labor-related activities associated with the movement of furniture, equipment and supplies to various locations on the Dartmouth campus as well as providing support for set-up and take-down of events on campus throughout the year. Must be capable of proficiently operating a variety of medium and light equipment.

How you'll contribute

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a General Laborer/Utility can vary from day to day depending upon operational needs driven by our customer requirements.
Primary Functions are to support the Operations teams. Duties include, but not limited to the packaging of our products into finished goods (ticketing, banding, wrapping) per customer specification and transporting to various on-site warehouses. And/or delivering baled corrugated raw material to be consumed and recycled in our Paper Manufacturing Process.
40% of time is spent on a hand-controls Bobcat. The balance is for general cleanup and training on higher paying positions.
Bobcat experience is not required but is a plus.
Successful candidates will receive Job Specific Training in addition to the safe use and operation of Powered Industrial Trucks to transport various materials.

**Essential Duties:**
1. Perform maintenance and repair of structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, ventilating, air conditioning and drainage systems. Recommend contracted assistance when on-center repair is not possible.
2. Repair or replace faulty or damaged light fixtures, outlets and fuses as directed.
3. Perform minor construction and repair of structural woodwork.
4. Install window shades, coverages, security locks, etc.
5. Perform repair or replacement of plumbing fixtures, washers, seals, etc.
6. Help prepare surfaces for finishing, including painting, as directed.
7. Direct inmates assigned to facility maintenance.
**Qualifications:**
+ Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent (GED).
+ Technical training and general knowledge of repair and maintenance plus three (3) years related experience preferred.
+ Valid driver's license in state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
+ Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements.

Compensation Data

Job Responsibilities
* Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
* Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
* Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
* Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
* Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
* Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
* Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications
