VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our growing Oncology Department (Medical and Radiation)! Schedule : FT Days M-F Compensation : $ 53 - $ 55 / hr Our state of the art facility was constructed in 1999 and is a fully functioning multi-specialty hospital in Clackamas, Oregon just outside of Portland. Just as in human medicine, we use a Varian Trilogy Radiotherapy System in combination with a CT scan to develop advanced treatment plans (IMRT, SRT) offering state of the art radiation delivery. You will serve as a mentor for our veterinary technicians and support staff, plus be required to educate clients and perform treatments on our veterinary patients. You would be under direct supervision of our Veterinary Oncologist and administer radiation therapy treatments to our patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accuracy delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Some animal handling will be required. When available and time allows help diagnostic imaging department run CT scans. Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program required. * Position is entry level and requires 0-3 years' experience actively practicing as an RTT. ARRT certification required. * Candidate should possess the ability to multitask, handle stressful and emotional situations. * Candidate should have a good understanding of medical terminology. * Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a team * Must be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-started with a professional and positive attitude. * Enjoys mentoring and training others. * One or more years in specialty practice, oncology specialty favored but not required. Summary and Qualifications: The primary purpose and function of the Regional Finance Manager is to assist the Regional Vice Presidents, SOLT, and CFO by contributing expert financial and analytical knowledge for the development and implementation of business strategy, resulting in delivery of the financial targets for the region. Summary and Qualifications: The primary purpose and function of the Sr. Specialist, Campus Recruitment is to develop early talent pipelines and support full lifecycle recruitment for new graduate doctors in partnership with the field and greater Talent Acquisition, execute university relations strategies, and support execution of the DVM and VT externships, student job program and student ambassador program. This position performs full lifecycle recruiting and provides the highest level of staffing services while guiding clients/hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.
