Position Details:
· Base compensation plan plus commission.

· Treatment of aesthetics patients and post-operative care as well as oversee patients for hormone optimization and regenerative medicine.

· Provider will be trained by Dr. Schalit in the following aesthetic treatments-Botox, Fillers, Facial Cosmetic Surgical Procedures, and Laser Resurfacing.
· Must be able to work independently and have a Florida license
· Needs to be passionate about longevity & regenerative medicine.

Dr. Schalit is a distinguished Fellow with the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Schalit is partnered with Florida Oral & Facial Surgical Associates and is the Chief Surgeon of the Division of Maxillofacial Surgery at Halifax Medical center as well as an adjunct professor at Nova University, training residents in facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Schalit is also a national trainer for Allergan medical Aesthetics and ranks annually as one of the company?s top volume accounts. Dr. Schalit is in the Top 1% of solo injectors nationally.

Physicians Rehabilitation is a clinic specializing in knee, joint, back, and neck pain, with a focus on leading patients to non surgical pain solutions and to avoid joint replacement or back/neck surgery. We are an all inclusive specialty practice with a physical therapy and medical staff at all of our five locations in Florida.
We have an insurance covered osteoarthritis relief protocol of physical therapy and weekly hyaluronic acid based intra-articular knee injections that is highly successful and proven. We will be pleased to discuss specifics. You could be an internist or family practice PA looking for some more income, or an ortho PA with independence. We can quickly bring you up to speed in our processes.
We also have wellness offerings for weight loss utilizing GLP-1s and/or IM weight loss/vitamin injectables. We have found great success in helping our patients relieve pain in joints and over all increased well being with the weight loss protocols. The current opening is for 5 days a week working 3 days at our Lady Lake office and 2 days at our Wildwood office. The hours are 8 am - 5pm.
We are flexible to also offer 4 days a week - M/W in Lady Lake and Tu/Th in Wildwood.

Essential Job Functions

* Perform patient restraint, obtain and process laboratory samples, handle and dispense medications at the direction of the veterinarian and help maintain the electronic medical record.
* Schedule appointments, provide client education, relay test results to doctor and clients, and maintain and update client/patient records.
* Help prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures and assist doctor and/or veterinary technician in anesthetizing patients. Under supervision of the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician, assistants will maintain patients safely under anesthesia while monitoring vital parameters, help monitor patients during recovery and prepare them for hospital discharge or transfer to an overnight care facility.
* Under supervision of the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician, perform in-hospital treatments for sick patients including giving injectable and oral medications as well as intravenous fluid therapy; keep patients clean, watered, and fed (when indicated and directed by doctor), safely walk canine patients when necessary for elimination.
* Under direction of the HOM/HLOD, assist in the training of new staff members and general dissemination of knowledge as required.
* Keep hospital environment neat and clean; perform regular cleaning of environment based on necessity as well as based on a pre-determined maintenance schedule.
Other Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide backup phone and front desk support as needed
Nature of Supervision
In all activities related to the care of individual patients, the incumbent will take direct supervision from the veterinarians as well as the Veterinary Technician. For purposes of overall supervision, the incumbent takes direction from the HOM/HLOD or from the supervising technician for the shift.
Planning and Problem Solving
Like all team members, the VeterinaryAssistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that day-to-day operation of the hospital is efficient and provides an optimal experience for our patients and clients.

Responsibilities
The Veterinary Technician Assistant (TA) is responsible for maintaining excellent patient care and operational productivity by helping the Veterinary Technician (VT) leverage their time and efforts to meet the needs of our clients and patients. The Veterinary Technician Assistant works to relieve the Veterinary Technician from technical work and administrative detail to achieve greater levels of efficiency in daily practice. Veterinary Technician Assistants help facilitate and streamline the communication from the operating room to the front office staff and most importantly, the client.
Essential qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
At least 18 years of age at the time of hire
At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience
Understanding and ability to properly, and safely, restrain animals
Knowledgeable on veterinary medical terminology and medication
Lift 50 lbs to waist height
Frequent standing, bending, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication & listening skills
Self-motivated & team-oriented
A day in the life:
Assists the Veterinary Technician (VT) in preparing patients for medical, surgical, and dental surgeries by assisting in the administration of anesthesia and properly restraining the patients as needed for examination and treatment.
Effectively partner with the Veterinarian and Veterinary Technician (VT) Teams to administer proper patient triage protocol based on the client and facilities' needs and capabilities in a fast-paced and effective manner.
Aid Veterinary Technicians (VT) with booked appointments, walk-ins, and work-ins, including recording observations/treatment plans in the patient file, and aid in the performance of medical treatments under doctor supervision.
Assist the Client Service Specialist team when needed
