Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant for the department of Surgery at the New Jersey Medical School. Under the direction and supervision of a Dr. Keri Lunsford, provides health care services to patients and assist in the management of patients under clinical trial in the Division of Transplant and HPB Surgery at Rutgers NJMS. PA should have specialized knowledge and experience in organ donation, liver transplant, complications of liver transplant, and the evaluation and management of liver transplant patients both prior to and following transplantation. In addition to clinical duties, the PA will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of clinical trial records, assessment of complications occurring following clinical trial enrollment, and entry and audit of clinical data into the data management system. They will be required to undergo training and certification in clinical trial data management and human subjects research, and they will interface with clinical and research personnel.
