The Warehouse Worker?s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items and reporting any discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.
Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable products.
May require training and operation of a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, and/or forklifts.
Picks inventory to assemble orders of product, supplies and equipment for requisitions or established par levels.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
Load, unload and transport products and materials to different areas of the warehouse and/or other client locations. May require use of carts, powered industrial vehicles (PIV), or motor vehicles.
Responsible for conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established location schedules.
Accurately complete administrative duties including records such as inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and any other relevant business records. This may be on paper or in a technology-based system (hand-held device or PC).
Clean work areas as assigned, including but not limited to restrooms, break areas, loading dock, freight elevator and freight platform delivery areas when applicable.
Implement all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures. Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
Takes appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets.
Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required.

Must be over 18 years of age
High school education or equivalent is preferred
2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred

Reconfigure store shelving, build endcaps, and assist with creating merchandise displays. Read and interpret merchandising diagrams (plan-o-grams).
Deliver bulk and/or packaged merchandise to customer locations utilizing Blue Ridge vehicles.
Fill propane cylinders. Operate all propane-related equipment according to established procedures and safety protocols, and in compliance with training and licensing requirements.
Assist facility team members in taking physical inventory according to established guidelines.
Monitor entrances and exits in an effort to promote store security, safety, and to minimize merchandise loss. Request receipt or proof of payment in keeping with facility procedures. Escalate potential security concerns to store leadership.
Perform regular inspections of forklifts and other industrial equipment according to facility guidelines. Identify and report maintenance needs to supervisor. May assist with maintenance of equipment as needed.
Perform daily housekeeping duties and general facility maintenance to keep warehouse, showroom, outside lot and display areas neat and safe. Keep aisles and walkways clear of debris. May perform lawn care, snow removal, painting, and a variety of other general maintenance assignments as determined by location needs.
Work safely as to not cause harm to yourself, customers and property, co-workers, equipment, or inventory. Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Operate all equipment and vehicles according to Blue Ridge policy and government regulations. Comply with OSHA regulations, Blue Ridge Farmers Cooperative Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards, work rules and policies.

Our business is growing, and we are accepting applications for WAREHOUSEASSOCIATES at our facility in Louisa, VA. Our hours of operation span over three (3) shifts and we are a Monday through Saturday operation. Note: not all positions will require flexibility to work all shifts. This position can be part-time or full-time and is during the 3rd shift. The working environment is in a refrigerated warehouse.

Job Responsibilities
Receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to orders and safety procedures and policies.
Ensuring accurate and timely filing orders and with minimal damages or losses.
Receiving, packing, labeling, and storing incoming shipments.
Assessing produce for damages.
Load trucks for Delivery Drivers to begin route during their shift.
Maintaining an organized and safety working environment.
Loading, unloading and moving produce by hand or using equipment's such as forklifts.
Qualifications
At least 2 to 3 years of experience with order fulfillment or warehouse environments
Availability to work overnights, up to six (6) days per week, but will not work Saturday nights
Must be able to communicate good in English, including reading, plus good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (34 - 55 degrees) for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, as well as bend, kneel, reach overhead and other strenuous work repetitively
Possess a positive attitude, an excellent work ethic and the drive to succeed
Be detail oriented and diligent with your work
Experience with fresh produce is a plus!

Monday - Thursday, Second (2nd) Shift 12:00 pm to close The 2nd shift warehouse position builds beverage orders by stacking quantities of beer, and non-alcoholic beverages on pallets using a forklift or electric pallet jack. The position is responsible for doing so accurately and quickly to company standards. Other duties may include loading trucks, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining a clean working environment. Prefer previous warehouse experience, however, applicant with good job stability is also a good fit. Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 pounds or more on a repetitive basis during a 10 to 15 hour day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and sitting.
Must be able to utilize basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to communicate utilizing the English language in verbal and written form.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.

Our business is growing, and we are accepting applications for WAREHOUSEASSOCIATES at our facility in Louisa, VA. Our hours of operation span over three (3) shifts and we are a Monday through Saturday operation. Note: not all positions will require flexibility to work all shifts. This position can be part-time or full-time and is during the 3rd shift. The working environment is in a refrigerated warehouse.

Job Responsibilities
Receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to orders and safety procedures and policies.
Ensuring accurate and timely filing orders and with minimal damages or losses.
Receiving, packing, labeling, and storing incoming shipments.
Assessing produce for damages.
Load trucks for Delivery Drivers to begin route during their shift.
Maintaining an organized and safety working environment.
Loading, unloading and moving produce by hand or using equipment's such as forklifts.
Qualifications
At least 2 to 3 years of experience with order fulfillment or warehouse environments
Availability to work overnights, up to six (6) days per week, but will not work Saturday nights
Must be able to communicate good in English, including reading, plus good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (34 - 55 degrees) for long periods of time
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, as well as bend, kneel, reach overhead and other strenuous work repetitively
Possess a positive attitude, an excellent work ethic and the drive to succeed
Be detail oriented and diligent with your work
Experience with fresh produce is a plus!
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if offered a position.
