Contract Length: 6 weeks
We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations for a short-term 6-week assignment. This role involves receiving products, picking customer orders, stocking shelves, handling returns, and preparing items for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced, physical environment and may be required to work in refrigerated or hot/cold areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming products and verify shipments for accuracy
Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanner devices (if required)
Stock shelves and maintain proper organization of materials
Process returns and place items back into correct warehouse locations
Enter basic order and inventory data into the computer system
Assist with daily inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies
Keep work areas clean and follow all safety guidelines
Follow detailed instructions and comply with warehouse procedures
Perform additional warehouse tasks as needed
Skills & Requirements:
Ability to read and understand product labels and instructions in English
Basic math skills
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Comfortable using basic computer systems
Willingness to work overtime as required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs

We need you to help us provide top notch service by being cross-trained and performing a wide-range of warehouse duties in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify items received and being shipped by checking identifying information of items, inspecting condition of items, and recording count/measure of items following established procedures.
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory using recognized practices.
Prepare product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading and securing product by means of defined procedures.
Document product shipment by recording units shipped using defined processes.
Drive and use Powered Industrial Vehicles to perform job which can typically include forklift, power jack and high lift.
Maintain certifications to use powered equipment through safe work practices and following of procedures
Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, following appropriate operating procedures and requesting repairs.
Use hand-held scanner and vehicle mounted units to maintain accurate inventory control through proper recording of locations of pallets and/or cases.
Monitor condition of cases and integrity of pallets. Report substandard or out-of-specification items to Supervision.
Place labels on cases or loads in accordance with customer specifications.
Process inventory by stacking, un-stacking, restacking, wrapping, and unwrapping pallets and cases of product according to customer specifications.
Insert or remove dividers between cases as instructed.
Complete general housekeeping that includes sweeping and emptying garbage
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Communicate positively and effectively within a Team environment.
Meet attendance requirements of the position.
Stretch wrap pallets using either manually or using a powered machine
Maintain a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations.
Safely perform job duties by maintaining a safe working environment, following safety rules and regulations, being aware of surroundings, not using machines unless trained and other techniques.
Support assigned duties of the warehouse supervision to assist in the operations of the facility.
Other duties to be assigned as business necessitates
Job Qualifications - Education and Experience:
Prior warehouse/distribution experience desired
Prior use of forklift and other motorized equipment preferred
Customer service experience preferred
Use strong math skills to count and multiply accurately.
Use non-motorized pallet jack
Physical Requirements:
Regularly stand and walk for 8 or more hours in a day.
Must be able to work in a freezer/refrigerator environment
Effectively handle lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds frequently
Frequently bend, twist, stoop, grip, climb or balance, and reach with hands and arms.

We are currently hiring a Supply/Inventory Technician to perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities in support of the Fort Rucker Gunnery Range Complex, Fort Rucker, AL. The position reports to, and is under the direct supervision of, the Project Manager and is usually divided by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility.
Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.
Assignments require:
A good working knowledge of the government supply systems, databases and computer programs of record, supply discipline programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.
Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Inventory Management - responsible for inventory of decentralized and controlled items, including supplies and equipment assigned to contractor's primary hand receipt/property administrator.
Material Coordination - Perform material coordination duties for maintenance on the basis of practical experience in processing and expediting supply transactions.
Cataloging - write item descriptions for all new items entering the supply channels and apply requirements selecting the appropriate material description.
This includes reviewing existing stock catalogs, manufacturers' catalogs, drawings, FEDLOG, or other resource materials, for the purpose of matching characteristics or part numbers to identify duplicate items already catalogued or otherwise recorded in the supply system.
Manage short-term issues or turn-ins (DA form 3161), recording accountability and inventory of short-term issue inventory.
Schedule and conduct semi-annual, sensitive-item, and 10% monthly cycles inventories, reconciles balances with the Government Property Administrator to ensure that all property is accounted for, and prepares shortage annexes and turn-in documents.
Prepare items for turn-in through the Consolidated Installation Property Book Office (CIPBO) to the Defense Resource Material Office (DRMO) for disposition.
Maintain and update computer-generated master and sub hand-receipt files.
Initiate and process work orders (DA Form 2407) for Government and Contractor Furnished Equipment (GFE / CFE).
Prepare maintenance requests and submit equipment for calibration according to the IAW Published Government Schedule.
Work within a framework of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures of supply management and key control guidelines.
Work Conditions:
Conditions will vary but most work will be performed indoors.
Work will consist of approximately 25% sitting, 20% standing, 30% walking, 5% stooping, 10% reaching, 10% lifting, including up to 35 lbs. unassisted.
