The Warehouse Supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising and coordinating all Shipping and Receiving functions to ensure the product is received and shipped correctly and on time, as per company requirements and customer specifications. Conduct and/or direct regular cycle counting of finished goods and ensure all transactions are correctly entered into the organization's inventory system. * Schedule materials being transferred to and from the warehouse; coordinates the transfer of inventory between departments. * Communicate any product shortages to Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager. * Ensures all employee owners are efficiently and safely operating powered industrial equipment. * Manage relationships with logistics vendors and corporate traffic and customer service. * Schedules bulk railcar deliveries and release of railcars. * Directs activities of bulk unloaders. * Cross trained in all roles in order to act as a back-up to fill in for Shipping and Receiving Lead, S&R Coordinator and Forklift Operators as needed. * Hire, train, supervise, motivate, develop, and provide feedback to employee owners. * Ensure employee owners understand their departmental priorities and goals; ensure the department is staffed to match priorities while also optimizing departmental efficiencies. * Ensure a positive work environment in alignment with Trinidad/Benham Corp. values, corporate policies and procedures. * Resolve employee issues in coordination with HR Manager by utilizing progressive coaching and development techniques. * Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area; and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures, including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms. * Other duties as assigned by management.
