What you'll be doing: As a warehouse associate you may work in one of the following five areas:
Order Picker: You will pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals. At times you will be picking above ground level while adhering to safety procedures.
Restocker: You will scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep your work area for the next shift while adhering to safety procedures.
Bulk Selector: You will be responsible for selecting product, pulling, and packing totes, as well as cutting cases of merchandise and/or stocking product. You will move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt while adhering to safety procedures.
Custodian: You will be responsible for general cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside of the facility. In this role, you will clean and sanitize restrooms, vacuum, and remove spots from carpet, sweep and mop floors, clean and dust chairs, partition walls and other miscellaneous furniture, clean windows and brass and collect and remove trash from the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Shipping: You will be responsible for organizing, stacking, and shrink-wrapping customer orders on pallets. You will be loading trucks manually; lifting, lowering, and carrying product in a fast-paced environment and stacking empty pallets while maintaining a safe and clean workspace while adhering to safety procedures.
Please note, as an SC1 associate you may be moved into any of the above roles as needed.

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
Prior warehouse or applicable experience to include, but not limited to: fast-food (utilizing headset a plus), stockroom, working with racking systems, customer service, package handling, etc.

Position Summary
The Materials & Warehouse Superintendent oversees all warehouse, materials handling, inventory control, and inbound/outbound logistics operations. This role ensures the efficient flow, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production schedules and customer requirements. The Superintendent leads warehouse supervisors, material handlers, and logistics personnel while driving safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Leadership
Direct daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
Lead and manage multiple shifts, including supervisors, team leads, and material handlers.
Create and manage staffing schedules to meet production and shipping demands.
Oversee the safe and efficient use of forklifts, trucks, and material-handling equipment.
2. Materials & Inventory Management
Ensure accurate and timely flow of materials to production lines.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and root cause analysis of variances.
Implement inventory control processes such as FIFO, Kanban, and replenishment systems.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstock, and material obsolescence.
3. Logistics & Supplier Coordination
Manage inbound and outbound freight, including carrier scheduling and dock operations.
Coordinate with Purchasing on supplier issues, delivery timing, and material quality.
Track shipments, resolve logistics disruptions, and oversee freight cost control.
4. Safety & Compliance
Enforce OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations across warehouse operations.
Conduct safety training, equipment certifications, and incident investigations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse through 5S and housekeeping standards.
5. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse operations and reduce waste.
Lead Lean/CI initiatives such as 5S, standard work, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.
Develop, revise, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Implement warehouse technology improvements (scanners, automation, WMS upgrades).
6. Reporting & Performance Management
Track KPIs such as:
Inventory accuracy
On-time delivery
Dock-to-stock time
Material availability
Warehouse productivity
Prepare and present performance reports to plant and supply chain leadership.

Required

Warehouse Team Leader-BAI Blackfoot Essential Duties and Accountabilities 1. Safety: Responsible for facility safety. Actively involved in the behavior based safety process; coaches employees on the importance of being personally responsible for their safety related behavior. Facilitate the communication between shifts and teams, and ensure the development of a high performance work environment.
4. Sanitation/GMP's: Responsible for meeting customer requirements through communication, documentation, training of team members, and adherence to sanitation guidelines and GMP's. Responsible for meeting requirements of supplier certification programs and audits. Ensures corrective action is taken on corporate/customer sanitation audits.
5. Plant Administration: Act as an on-shift representative for emergency response coordination, documentation, compliance to company policies. Respond to HR related issues as needed, conduct thorough investigations, and coordinate results/issues.
6. Continuous Improvements/Basic Principles: Demonstrate a daily commitment to the continuous improvement process by following Lean Manufacturing principles, and the Basic Principles. * Cleans Video Jet head, checking placement of labels, stamp and rails.
* Operates the tuber or filling lines within quality standards by manually placing tubes and bottles or using an automatic machine, checking fill levels, batch code; boxing product, placing on a pallet, scraping vat as needed, filling hopper as needed with a bucket of product, cleaning buckets, filling tube loader with tubes, etc. Filling hopper as needed with caps and placing labels on labeler.
* Completes reports, labels, etc. with information (i.e., name of product, quantity, names of people, date, shift, etc.)
* Assists in training other associates as needed by showing proper procedures, answering questions, etc.
* Performs daily equipment maintenance and upkeep duties (i.e., mopping, cleaning, etc.)
* Inspects and maintains quality of product being produced based on requirements set.
* Enters data in Computer as needed.

Essential Duties:
• Operate various machines and equipment to manufacture products according to established procedures and quality standards
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure that they are functioning correctly
• Inspect finished products to ensure that they meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make minor repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations
• Participate in lean initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiencies

Required Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
