    Warehouse machine operator job in Buffalo Grove, IL

    The L1 is responsible for the packaging of molded and/or assembled components per company and customer specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE as required. Package, Label, and stack product on skids per Lot information and product specification. Report any out of line conditions, damaged equipment to Supervisor or maintenance. Retrieve packing material from warehouse. Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to Health and Safety Requirements, GMP and standard work procedures, Continuous Improvement & ISO Standards, Maintain clean workspace and 5S Standards in work area. Operate packaging equipment as required per product specifications and/or work instructions. Complete Packaging auxiliary equipment (TPM) Total Productive Maintenance activities as needed. Follow instructions as required per ID sheets and visuals. Maintain Lean initiatives and participate in lean projects. Provide suggestions and take active role in Process Improvements to eliminate non-value-added activity. Perform line clearances as required. Other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to read/write/speak English. Able to lift up to 55 lbs. PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills. Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a clean manufacturing warehouse environment that may include moderate noise levels.
