Take precise measurements to ensure precise fit of components
Read and interpret electrical blueprints to install components, including relays, controllers, and controls on electrical panels, and review all SOPs and guidelines related to your tasks

Review assembled product to ensure quality standards met

What You'll Do
Mount roll of material on machine shafts, re-roll and inspect material while rewinding, and measure material to desire lengths.
Start machine and observe flow of material through machine to detect irregular cutting and winding.
Responsible for maintenance and some repairs of rewind machine.
Operate slitter, placing correct dimensions and specification into the computer.
Fill orders for zone tape, sponge, and tubing.
Clean and maintain work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Inventory management of materials and finished goods in the converting area
Correctly completes all inventory transactions in the ERP system.

You will contribute by:

+ Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory through cycle/directed counting. Research customer service issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommend appropriate response.
+ Monitor warehouse management system for open invoices.
+ Support the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identify and monitor high volume and high dollar items during shipping process.
+ Label all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Record discrepancies on bill of lading and inform clerk and/or appropriate management of damage and inventory shortages
+ Set up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving. Recognize potential inventory hazards including, but not limited to storage of raw or over cooked product..
+ Operate current warehouse management system. Utilize necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select product.
+ Audit pick/reserve slots and keep rotation of product accurate, as needed.
+ Verify absence of rodent/pest activity in all inbound shipments and document any record of activity
+ Perform all other daily/weekly/monthly tasks, not specifically mentioned herein, as described in the inventory control SOP program.

The Head of Logistics supports the strategic planning of the organization by developing and executing short-to-medium range plans for the department from the overall strategy the Company and its Supply Chain Division. He/She oversees training, coaching, and developing the logistics team in the execution of the Company's transportation, warehousing and information system strategies.
The successful candidate will oversee will the operations of the relevant logistics department, managing business relationships with internal stakeholders and external logistics services suppliers. He/She will be responsible for the orchestration and management of 3PL partners, the execution of transformation programs, and as the escalation point between the global logistics function, intra-regional logistics leadership teams, and the 3PL account management teams relating to all inbound freight, ground transport, and fulfilment activity in the Americas.
Lead a matrix team of indirect reports responsible for the quality on-time delivery of products from source to distribution center and through to end users and customers.
Work closely with peers for the effective management of storage and transportation of inventory that meet both service and cost objectives, whilst increasing agility, and resilience.
Implementation of global logistics strategies into scalable business-as-usual models that optimize efficiencies.
Manage 3PL partners and ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive 3PL engagement plan that encompasses global and regional freight, warehousing, and transportation activity.
Is responsible for the strategic management and of inventory in transit and the strategy around minimum touch points, be that DC bypass or direct ship, to reduce lead times and carrying cost.
Partner and collaborate with indirect procurement to agree the best commercial propositions, including identifying opportunities for service excellence, continuous improvement, and the application of next generation innovation.
Implementation and leadership of the NSSoD (net satisfaction score on delivery) to measure our customer experience of logistics and trigger improvement plans.
Strategize, enable, and implement best-in-class B2C and B2C delivery strategies with an end-to-end mind set.
Acts as internal sponsor for the regional 3PL partners, acting as the senior SME focal point within the logistics organization, including guiding operational implementation, developing new areas of business, setting out joint strategies.
Maintains benchmarking and ongoing assessment processes for reginal 3PL partners to continuously improve.
Works closely with intra-regional logistics leadership teams to understand the need for local customization of globally agreed operating standards, refining as appropriate, including the administrative control and information flow.
Represents and contributes on behalf of the global logistics function as a workstream owner of new projects and initiatives.
Supports Global Logistics Excellence best-practice promotion and adopts value-add practices to constantly drive business process improvement.
Responsible for the delivery of cost-to-serve to budget initiatives and maintain accurate actual and forecasted cost management.

Ensures alignment from global 3PL service providers on standards and operating procedures from the point of selection.
Maintains a documented and implemented relationship development strategy for strategic partners that includes a continuous improvement and innovation framework and roadmaps.
Sets SMART objectives and KPIs that capture, measure and report on the service delivery, data quality and financial performance achieved by each regional 3PL provider.

About you
Supply chain or business related degree is desirable.
10+ years' operational logistics experience in relevant industries.

Loading/unloading, delivery and receiving of equipment, product, and supplies at warehouses and event sites;

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) operates stand-up equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, move, or place in racks, products/materials in the cold storage. The ideal candidate will move materials in the warehouse, CPG, Natural Ingredients, and load/ unload truck trailers or shipping containers.
Conducts daily inspections on assigned equipment which may include but not be limited to stand-up, sit-down, high reach, quad-mast, pallet jacks, or double pallet jack equipment.
Consistently uses a radio frequency scan gun which is connected to computer (VMU) on lift that directs, identifies and tracks materials as it is moved.
Responsible for physically rotating materials to ensure proper aging.
Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to relocate materials to the proper department for utilization.
Will unload, transport, and store all incoming materials/finished goods using WMS.
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED.
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and write in English.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions.
Confident learning and using the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
Possess basic mathematical skills. (such as adding and subtracting)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience using a warehouse management system which includes RF scan guns, and handheld RF units.
Knowledge of WMS, preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Exposure to cold temperature (34 degrees to sub-zero temperatures)
Must be able to lift up to 50-55 pounds consistently.
