The Material Handler is responsible to Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following essential duties. Shall utilize government furnished material handling equipment (MHE) such as standard forklifts, swing-reach forklifts, order picker forklifts, and pallet jacks. Ability to become proficient using the automated logistics information system (ALIS). Able to perform work associated with pack-up kits (PUK). This includes pulling materials to build PUKs and processing PUK parts back into inventory. Perform and record perpetual inventory on stock in location after each warehousing action. Perform disposal of identified materials. This will not include hazardous materials (HAZMAT). Any and all other duties as assigned by the Program Manager/Site Manager. Required Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent. 1 year of experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System or performing warehouse duties. Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection. Must be detail oriented and organized. Must be a good communicator and multitasker in order to successfully manage day-to-day operations at a busy warehouse.
