I. Job Summary
As a member of the People organization. The Senior People Manager will be tasked with providing world class strategic people solutions and guidance to assigned managers with a primary focus on tactical execution and support of internal manager clients. The Senior People Manager is responsible for supporting and ensuring the execution of initiatives that build trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, leadership development and workforce efficiency for a diverse workforce in an emerging and fast paced enterprise. The Senior People Manager will direct and control People policies and programs to provide and maintain an effective organization which will enable the company to achieve its short and long-term goals.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Identifies and activates People solutions that impact the company's ability to meet business objectives. Must accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions and implement action plans
* Plans, manages and coordinates various People functions and organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.
* Leadership activity will include managing talent through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, learning and development programs for preparing employees for career advancement and employee development programs to enhance employee knowledge and understanding of the business of the company and the industry.
* Execute area/business unit/functional-level strategies to improve organizational health and culture. Lead and participate in diversity & inclusion initiatives.
* Coaches and advises managers, supporting multiple functions/departments on people matters.
* Delivers People solutions that are considered value added, measurable, directly tied to the operating unit and/or functional department level business objectives.
* Participates as a key member of district operating unit and/or functional department leadership team providing people solutions to improve business impact.
* Proposes People solutions and/or organizational changes at an operating unit and/or department level based upon an analysis of operational opportunities.
* Partners with appropriate Centers of Expertise (COE) to execute People strategies, initiatives and programs to support business objectives at an Area and/or Functional level.
* Leads/manages projects and/or participates as a project member on People initiatives as assigned.
* Hires, leads, develops, and coaches members of the People Organization.
* Develops written and oral presentations that have high clarity and impact. Provides regular written reports as needed to business unit and/or functional department leadership.
* Serves as an advisor to management for employment related legal issues and ensures local compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local employment laws.
* Execute organizational change initiatives that support the company's strategic business framework.
* Proactively identifies and applies new ideas to adapt to changing work demands.
* Partners with the People Director to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and new initiatives.
* Provides technical advice, knowledge, coaching and guidance to others within the human resources discipline.
* Partner with local teams to ensure ongoing recruitment outreach.
* Oversees / monitors new employee orientation to foster engagement.
* Oversees employee separation notices and related documentation and orchestrates and/or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
* Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
* Oversees training on company policy, programs and other issues as they arise.
* Counsels managers on various employee and labors relation matters. Partners with COE accordingly.
* Participates in the budget process; analyzes data (year-to-date, year-over-year, to budget, to prior year, etc.)
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This role will directly lead and manage People Managers, Advisors and support staff activities of the People department.
* This will include direct supervision of 2 or more full-time employees.
IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
* Education: Bachelors Degree (accredited); major in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
* Experience: Seven (7) years of experience managing human resource systems, process, programs, initiatives and professionals (in addition to education requirement).
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
* SPHR certification preferred.

* Possess & leverage human resource discipline, operational and/or business acumen to influence shareholder value. Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all core aspects of Human Resource Management (staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training).

+ Safely operate his or her heavy truck along his or her designated route and to the disposal site; read route sheet, follow map and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor.
+ Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load refuse, operate compactor and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.
+ Courteously interact with all customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
+ Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers in accordance with applicable departmental procedures.
+ Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.
+ Clean area around an accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.
+ Continuously monitor the condition of the vehicle to ensure it is operationally ready at all times to minimize down time; clean waste from the packer blade and truck body (where appropriate) on each disposal trip.
+ Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports, as required.
+ Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
+ Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
+ Actively participate in the Company's ReSOP program.

The Business Unit Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing direction at his or her own shop, and indirectly through multiple maintenance supervisors or other maintenance managers, to a group of technicians and for implementing and monitoring maintenance policies and procedures to ensure that all repairs and maintenance to Republic Services' equipment, including trucks, containers and other heavy duty equipment are performed in compliance with the Company's safety and compliance standards, and in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide direction to on-site technicians and technician supervisor, and leadership and direction to maintenance supervisors or maintenance managers, to ensure that all repair/ maintenance work is performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner, reallocating resources among sites as appropriate. Oversee coordination, planning/ scheduling of all repair work to increase productivity, while effectively managing department's overtime. Monitor shops' operational performance and efficiency; take action to redirect activities appropriately. Report to management on shops' performance; implement procedures for process/programmatic changes for improvement or efficiencies.
* Overseeing daily shop huddles; fleet walk-arounds; coaching and counseling lead technician and maintenance supervisor(s) on performance and corrective action, when necessary; make hiring/ termination decisions in concert with Human Resources and appropriate management; oversee employee training and performance evaluations.
* Maintain an on-going preventive maintenance program for all shops within geographic responsibility. Identify trends in road calls, break downs; oversees maintenance of building and other facility on site; control maintenance costs relating to personnel, purchasing, inventory control and outsourcing of repairs.
* Perform inspections of outside repairs and maintenance to ensure all work is properly completed in accordance with Company safety and compliance procedures and federal and state regulations; follow up where appropriate. Identify training opportunities and, as necessary, document issues and constructively discuss corrective action, as needed, with maintenance supervisor.
* Accountable for scheduled Quality Control Inspections, track issues and resolution to ensure all work is properly completed in accordance with Company safety and compliance procedures, and federal and state regulations.
* Maintain advanced knowledge of engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic and electrical systems of heavy equipment and vehicles used by Company to ensure ability to perform advanced preventive and repair maintenance functions, on site and on road, including: Advanced engine chassis repair and maintenance; Advanced knowledge of vehicle body control systems, including hydraulics and electrical systems to maintain and repair vehicles in a timely and safe manner; Advanced knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems to effectively diagnose and repair complex heating and cooling systems in vehicles in a timely and safe manner; and Advance knowledge of welding tools to fix heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure equipment is back in an operable condition as quickly and as safely as possible.
* Manage related management and administrative matters for team, including payroll, maintenance of employee records, records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed, recording of all information into Dossier Maintenance Software, prepare and submit budget for approval, set departmental goals to align with targets and performance objectives established by division's leadership.

I. Job Summary
Manage the Landfill Gas to Renewable Natural Gas "RNG" Facility to maximize production, while ensuring safe work practices, environmental compliance, timely maintenance, compliance with contracts, and coordination with the landfill management and operations. This role acts as a plant owner and is available whenever necessary to meet the objectives of the role and the needs of the facility. An RNG Facility takes landfill gas and converts it to a Natural Gas Quality that is injected into the pipeline for household and commercial use. The RNG Plant Manager will be required to operate and maintain equipment such as, specialty gas processing equipment, gas compressors, and H2S removal systems, Nitrogen Removal Unit, and Pressure Swing Absorber.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* The operator will perform intermediate to advanced level Instrument and Control repair, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
* Capture data and evaluate course of action for optimized plant performance, while operating within identified budgets. This position also has strict requirements for safety and environmental compliance along with standard operating procedures.
* Must be an engaged employee with the ability to organize and manage small to large scale plant outages and projects, with attention to detail of organizational and record keeping of all maintenance reports, gas data analysis and waste stream documentation.
* Operate advanced instrumentation and process control systems.
* Leads, manages, and coordinates all 3rd party vendors or customers for scheduled plant maintenance, unscheduled down time, compliance, and well-field issues.
* Regularly communicates this with the Market Area Gas Operations Manager (MAGOM) and/or WMRE Operations Manager.
* Inspects plant machinery and equipment. Repairs, maintains, and services all equipment in accordance with the facility Standard Operating Procedures, equipment maintenance manuals, and WMRE policies and training. Must also be knowledgeable to handle non-routine repairs or issues that may arise and require sound, immediate judgment without direct supervision.
* Implements WM and WMRE safety policies and practices for all work activities, and ensures these practices are followed by other WM staff, vendors, contractors, and visitors entering the facility.
* Completes all mandatory training activities for both safety and operational training as assigned by supervisor.
* Procures plant supplies and replacement equipment in an efficient manner by identifying needs in advance, managing vendors, and working within WMRE guidelines as well as being responsible for the annual budget.
* Promptly responds to call-outs of plant shutdowns during non-business hours to identify the cause of the shutdown and rectify/diagnose through appropriate repairs or adjustments to return the plant to operation while consulting with WMRE operations managers (as needed). This role is given discretion to judge the situation and respond accordingly without management intervention, until needed.
* Maintains the facility spare inventory and provides a written inventory count twice annually.
* Completes special assignments/tasks as required by WMRE Operations Manager, Market Area Gas Operations Manager, or Landfill District Manager.
* Able to work as a team and communicate clearly and professionally across different business units.

The Driver Helper rides on the vehicle and assists a Driver in providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers who reside on a designated residential route. The Driver Helper is responsible for safely loading waste, as well as carrying bags and containers to the vehicle for disposal. The position assists the Driver in maneuvering his or her vehicle by directing the Driver from the ground. In addition, the Helper helps to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, as well as the on the route and in the work area.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ride on the vehicle to assist the Driver while servicing customers on a designated route.
* Operate packing mechanism and various levers and handles to activate the lifting and loading mechanism
* Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip; spray and clean the hopper and truck, if applicable.

The AR Center Cash Specialist is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate application of payments to customer accounts on various systems (e.g., InfoPro, TRUX, Webcollect) and lines of business via the following methods: Unapplied Cash/Cash on Account, Holding Accounts, Webcollect generated tasks, Webcollect generated reports and/or other applications as deemed necessary. In addition, the Cash Specialist works closely with other AR Center, Business Units, Headquarters teams and customers to ensure payment application is accurate and timely. Where necessary, root cause research is completed to minimize unapplied and/or unidentified scenarios that could result in adverse collection events to occur. This may require contact with the customer to close the loop.
**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Research unapplied and/or unidentified payments and move to the correct division, account, and invoice timely and accurately.
+ Assist AR Center employees with the research of cash related items, including sharing knowledge of system capabilities and coordinating cash transactions.
+ Contact customers on short-paid balances, unidentified payments, and possible process enhancements.
+ Partners with the AR Center Team and Leaders by quickly bringing issues to their attention, working to understand the root cause, and offering potential solutions.

This position reports to the Area Gas Operations Manager (AGOM) and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS) including the supervision and direction of Gas Technician I and Gas Technician II positions as well as contractors.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Properly operate and maintain GCCS in a timely and cost-sensitive manner to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize performance.
* Calibrate, operate, and maintain sensitive electronic data collection devices necessary to optimize LFG collection from the wellfield.
* On a routine basis, collect and manage data entry from wellfield extraction and environmental monitoring locations. Required to validate a tuning strategy to ensure proper LFG collection and high level of collection efficiency
* Implement GCCS preventative maintenance and develop ownership for all assigned GCCS.
* Install, operate, and maintain liquid management system pneumatic or electric driven pumps (troubleshoot and determine liquid levels within LFG collection wells).
* Perform wellfield monitoring, tuning adjustments, data collection, and field maintenance.
* Hands on construction using materials such as Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and/or High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) piping materials and associated equipment to perform maintenance on piping or other components of the gas collection system.
* Troubleshoot GCCS and related systems
* Train and mentor Gas Technicians on GCCS operations and maintenance activities; mentor and evaluate technician proficiency
* Manage/supervise contractor activities
* Provide project management support to the AGOM for GCCS design and construction.
* Participate in the development of LFG related capital and expense budgets.
* Be available for on-call response (physically on site or by phone as required) to GCCS related malfunction events.
* Review and analyze GCCS operating data and prepare reports, coach technicians on same. Implement and enforce all job-related health and safety requirements and procedures.
