SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is currently seeking personnel for our mechanical trades with experience in Millwrighting & Welding based out of our Blandon, PA Office. Our work includes moving machinery, complete facility relocation, plant maintenance, field fabrication, piping disconnects and reconnects, and installation of various material handling systems.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Use instruments for precise layout.
Perform rigging work including jacking, skating, heavy forklift operation and loading/unloading trucks.
Perform steel erection including shake out, connections and detail work.
Perform installation of miscellaneous metals
Perform installation of conveyors, dryers, and other material handling equipment
Perform installation of equipment and piping in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants
Field verifies dimensions and performs field fabrication and fitting.
Working at heights utilizing ladders, man lifts, etc. is required.
Must be willing to work some weekends as needed for client shutdowns.
Must be willing to travel for “out of town” jobs as needed and some will require overnight stay.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED is required.
3-5 years of experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
Current driver's license is required.
Ability to operate man lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, skid steer loaders, etc. is a plus.
Must be familiar with or willing to learn OSHA and MSHA safety regulations.
Must be familiar with working around cranes and hand signals.
A willingness to multitask and strong communications skills are required.
Strong math skills are essential.
Welding with experience in MIG and stick welding in all positions is preferred.
Previous work experience installing equipment in heavy industry and/or the mining industry is preferred.

Position Overview
JGM is seeking an experienced Fitter/Fabricator to join our team at our heavy industrial steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the structural steel industry, preferably within an AISC-certified environment. This position requires the ability to efficiently and precisely fit and fabricate structural steel components to industry specifications. The role demands high technical skill, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Interpret and execute shop drawings and specifications for structural steel fabrication.
Perform precise layout and fitting of parts per drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
Verify layout accuracy for other fabricators and provide guidance as necessary.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including air carbon arc gouging, grinders, cutting torches, and welding tractors, with proficiency.
Pre-heat and prepare materials as required to meet welding and fabrication standards.
Utilize overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment to handle heavy materials safely and efficiently.
Inspect equipment regularly, maintain tools, and promptly communicate any repair or maintenance needs.
Work collaboratively within the team to meet production deadlines while ensuring a safe work environment.
Adhere to AISC, AWS D1.1, and internal safety standards and protocols throughout all tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in fitting/fabricating structural steel in a heavy industrial setting.
Experience in an AISC-certified shop environment is highly preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications with minimal supervision.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work systematically and ensure accurate fitting on complex assemblies.
Demonstrated focus on safety, with an ability to anticipate and mitigate risks in a heavy industrial environment.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including operating high-reach and scissor lifts when necessary.
High School Diploma or GED preferred; additional certifications from a technical or trade school are a plus.
Ability to wear respiratory protection and pass pulmonary function tests as required.
Physical Requirements
Regular use of hands and arms to manipulate steel parts, operate welding equipment, and fabricate components.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform tasks requiring precise hand-eye coordination.
Frequent climbing of ladders and stairs, and working from elevated platforms.
Capability to work in confined spaces, operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery, if properly trained and certified.
Work Environment
This is a shop-based position in a heavy industrial steel fabrication facility.
Tasks may involve exposure to harsh environments, including extreme temperatures, hazardous materials, fumes, and loud noise.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators will be required at all times.
Strict adherence to safety protocols is essential, as the role involves working with dangerous machinery and materials.
Occasional work in confined spaces and at heights, following all relevant safety standards.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
A Welder/Fitter is required to safely prepare various alloys for fabrication processing, welding, and fitting. The Welder/Fitter is an individual contributor that requires little or no supervisory assistance and possess working knowledge of welding and fabrication technology and applications.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated safety awareness and training in a construction/manufacturing environment

• Daily use of grinders, torches, plasma cutters, overhead cranes, and forklifts
• May occasionally perform x-ray quality welds that are code compliant

Position Overview
JGM is seeking an experienced Fitter/Fabricator to join our team at our heavy industrial steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the structural steel industry, preferably within an AISC-certified environment. This position requires the ability to efficiently and precisely fit and fabricate structural steel components to industry specifications. The role demands high technical skill, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Interpret and execute shop drawings and specifications for structural steel fabrication.
Perform precise layout and fitting of parts per drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
Verify layout accuracy for other fabricators and provide guidance as necessary.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including air carbon arc gouging, grinders, cutting torches, and welding tractors, with proficiency.
Pre-heat and prepare materials as required to meet welding and fabrication standards.
Utilize overhead cranes, forklifts, and other equipment to handle heavy materials safely and efficiently.
Inspect equipment regularly, maintain tools, and promptly communicate any repair or maintenance needs.
Work collaboratively within the team to meet production deadlines while ensuring a safe work environment.
Adhere to AISC, AWS D1.1, and internal safety standards and protocols throughout all tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in fitting/fabricating structural steel in a heavy industrial setting.
Experience in an AISC-certified shop environment is highly preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications with minimal supervision.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work systematically and ensure accurate fitting on complex assemblies.
Demonstrated focus on safety, with an ability to anticipate and mitigate risks in a heavy industrial environment.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including operating high-reach and scissor lifts when necessary.
High School Diploma or GED preferred; additional certifications from a technical or trade school are a plus.
Ability to wear respiratory protection and pass pulmonary function tests as required.
Physical Requirements
Regular use of hands and arms to manipulate steel parts, operate welding equipment, and fabricate components.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform tasks requiring precise hand-eye coordination.
Frequent climbing of ladders and stairs, and working from elevated platforms.
Capability to work in confined spaces, operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery, if properly trained and certified.
Work Environment
This is a shop-based position in a heavy industrial steel fabrication facility.
Tasks may involve exposure to harsh environments, including extreme temperatures, hazardous materials, fumes, and loud noise.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators will be required at all times.
Strict adherence to safety protocols is essential, as the role involves working with dangerous machinery and materials.
Occasional work in confined spaces and at heights, following all relevant safety standards.

Resumen del Puesto
JGM está buscando un instalador / fabricante experimentado para unirse a nuestro equipo en nuestro taller de fabricación de acero industrial pesado. El candidato ideal deberá tener un mínimo de 2 años de experiencia relevante en la industria del acero estructural, preferiblemente dentro de un entorno certificado por AISC. Description:
Assembly of aluminum sheet metal and extruded components involving Aluminum TIG welding, mechanical fasteners and hardware. Use of hand tools, mechanical fastener installation, measuring tools, computer and overhead crane are involved. High attention to detail, workmanship and appearance is required.
* Experience or related schooling are a plus.
* Excellent aluminum TIG welding skills are a must.
Qualifications:
•Must be at least 18 years of age and legal to work in the USA
•Potential hires must pass a physical & drug screen before starting employment
•High mechanical aptitude to safely and skillfully operate hand tools and machinery
•Able to accurately measure and perform basic math
•Able to accurately work with and interpret Engineering drawings.
•Able to skillfully TIG weld aluminum.
•Able to maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment.
Responsibilities:
