Set up and maintain equipment and tools
Performing related environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, continuous improvement, production-flow job duties to support plant machinery, equipment, and manufacturing-related initiatives and programs
Training duties
Maintaining detailed job task documentation, reports, and records
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in precision weld-fabrication disciplines; Or
Associate degree or Technical Certificate in weld-fabrication related field from an accredited university or college
Desirable Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in the set-up and operation of Gas Tungsten
Arc
Welding (TIG) tools and equipment
Demonstrated proficiency in the set-up and operation of Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), brazing, soldering, automated welding tools and equipment
Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical/weld/fabrication blueprint reading and interpretation
Experience in use of various precision gages, measuring tools and equipment such as, micrometers, dial calipers, height gages, special fixturing, etc.
Demonstrated experience in fabrication-related disciplines
Demonstrated use of oral and written communication skills
Experience in Lean Six Sigma fundamentals
Demonstrated ability in maintaining relationships by recognizing needs and sensitivities of others and cooperating and resolving conflicts that inspire the Team in achieving objectives and deliverables
Demonstrated ability in receiving guidance and supervision, following work rules, safety practices, work procedures, meeting deadlines, and punctuality and attendance standards

Position Summary
The Silencer/Welder Tech I is responsible for welding, assembling, and finishing suppressor components to meet exacting quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, precision welding skills, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely. You will ensure that all work meets established specifications and contribute to continuous process improvements in manufacturing silencers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Automated TIG and laser welding on silencer components with precision and consistency.
Assemble and inspect suppressor parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Grind, file, and finish welded components to required specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
Troubleshoot welding and assembly issues and make necessary adjustments.
Operate and maintain welding and finishing equipment.
Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve production processes.
Ensure the visual and physical quality of finished products before packaging.
Exhibit a strong work ethic and positive attitude in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High School or GED Diploma required; Welding Certification or Technical Degree preferred.
1-3 years of welding experience
Experience working with stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum materials.
Ability to use and read precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain professionalism at all times.
Self-motivated and adapts well to ongoing change.
Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
