Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications. Operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to produce high-quality tooling components. Perform detailed inspections and measurements to verify tooling accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to identify tooling issues and implement effective solutions to improve manufacturing processes. Maintain accurate documentation of tooling maintenance, repairs, and modifications to ensure traceability and compliance with company standards. Skills: The required skills enable the Toolmaker Class A to accurately interpret complex engineering drawings and translate them into precise tooling components using both manual and CNC machinery.
